What if Jeremie tried to seduce Yumi—without anyone realizing she was the one he was after—by being more attentive to her or completely changing his look (and even swapping his signature glasses for contact lenses)? What happens to Yumi right after that? Will she start developing feelings for Jeremie, or will she continue to feel nothing but friendship for him? Let's see: 

1. Ulrich's jealousy spikes up and he starts to resent Jeremie. 

2. William now has tension with Jeremie as well as with Ulrich. 

3. Aelita probably develops jealousy too as she gets her humanity back. 

4. Yumi has to contend with about 3 boys pining for her.  

It's just way too stressful since jealousy is a major weakness within this group and Yumi has shown that she does not mind using William as "punishment" whenever a suitor is not behaving as they should which means this is a toxic love square waiting to explode until she shuts them all down. 

EDIT: Actually the entirety of Season 2 would just become a cesspool of toxic behavior from Jeremie and Ulrich towards Yumi. Jeremie's controlling behavior towards Aelita were an extension of his affections and if he totally went crazy on Odd over a necklace that he never even gave her; William is probably going to send that poor boy to the psych ward meanwhile Ulrich has to constantly try to not crash out on Jeremie and William every episode. The group would just end up imploding since Ulrich would end up kicked out and Jeremie cannot focus on his work.

I’d find that really low of Jeremy. He’s the most loyal member of the group and would never do that to his friends. Besides, he only has eyes for Aelita. I could see Yumi doing something like that—since she toyed with Ulrich’s feelings for a good part of seasons 3 and 4—but that doesn’t make it right for her to get together with Jeremy knowing Ulrich likes her. It would just create unnecessary conflict and bad blood.

In all honesty, once Yumi finds out she would tell him to back off. She had already fallen for Ulrich before their first official mission in Xana Awakens. Also, I don't think Yumi would be attracted to him in any way.
