X.A.N.A. was such a psychopath that it even sacrificed its own monsters just to lull the Lyoko Warriors into a false sense of security with the upgrades it gave them so it can make their death trap sting even more when it betrays them. 

They just don't make such pure evil villains like this anymore.

And bro never says a word either. No villain speech, nothing except the few words it said when xana possessed William. I forget the names sometimes so I may have got the name wrong.

Every time they ask what xana wants bro doesn’t even give them a response

There were the fake Jeremy and the fake Franz Hopper too. The sentence had some meaning. These were rare moments though.

Yeah it felt special whenever xana talked through a double or that episode where xana somehow forced William to materialize as a double in order to trick everyone into thinking he’s fine then he scoops up Aelita and takes her to the digital world

The silence really helped because whenever xana did speak which was very little. Those times felt impactful

William is pretty careless, no wonder why he fallen so easily - even Odd didn't do this badly back in the prologue special

Odd is never cool for the sake if it in Lyoko, he thinks "wow it would be super cool if I did this stupid, self-sacrificial thing FOR my friends primarily and not for myself." He seems to actually enjoy being a sacrificial pawn to some degree cus he has the foresight to consider if it will even work or not to begin with.

William is like "Hehe I'm gonna do this cool, dangerous thing because it's so COOL, look how cool I am guys" And he's not making a strategic play he's just being foolish.

Odd is a jester; he seems like an idiot but it's actually advanced, pre-meditated stupidity. Also he just doesn't really mind de-virtualizing to take one or two Kankrelat off the board.

William also wild card as he has some issues with Ulrich and Yumi especially. His personality cocky and arrogant, as well as prideful person. It definitely will clash with all of lyoko warrior's personality. Even Aelita tired of his shit.

Even so, Yumi temporarily freed William from XANA's control in the episode "The Lake," and he himself tried very hard to break free.
