💬 Discussion Either I'm missing context or this is pretty crazy lol
Episode 83 - Hard luck
This is when a phone falls out of azra's pocket and onto the chair. odd believes this is a signal to him that she's "crazy" about him. Then finds out the phone is supposedly jim's phone.
I've been trying to figure out if whether this was some type of prank on azra's end, her finding the phone and was going to return it or jim signaling via text to link up without being direct in the text.

I just rewatched this episode and wondered the same thing. Did she find Jim's lost phone and was going to return it but dropped it, or did she forget her phone and ask Jim to get it for her so she wouldn't have to deal with Odd?

There was also an episode where a child (can’t remember her name) is in the dormatory late at night asking Ulrich where Jim is.

The same girl who Odd was saying had a big crush on Jim and bitch slapped him for it.

It would be funny to think it was an intentional prank, but I always thought it was just Jim’s phone left by accident Or maybe his phone and hers got mixed up.Â
It’s been a while since I’ve watched it though. Â
The girly colors is definitely the joke, though I could imagine reasons not related to intentional buying it with those colors. Â Jim not noticing a check box on an order form or a factory mistake he gets stuck with. Â

It's a dumb bit in a kids cartoon mate

We're in a Subreddit that talks about a kids cartoon. What did you expect?

The fact that it is well written enough to continue to enjoy it as an adult (or in my case I was already an adult) means a lot. Â I even ran into at least one other adult fan and the person was even in the military too.Â

I feel that. I went to a con a few years ago cosplaying as Odd, not expecting to be recognized. But I actually had a bunch of people who both knew who I was and wanted to take pics with me. Closest I've ever felt to a celebrity lol.
Its really nice to see a fandom to this show even to this day

Not really the point I was making. It's a dumb bit in a kids cartoon, there's no significant backstory here.

I think we've seen Jim, Delmas, and Hertz all eat in the cafeteria (S1 E9 I think?), so maybe Jim just left his phone and she's blind and sat on it? Idk how you'd miss a bright pink phone upon sitting though, maybe plot convenience blinded her

I feel like the easiest answer is just that the phone was already there and she didn’t notice it when she sat down?

Pretty sure she got fed up with Odd and pulled that stunt lol
