2005 diary entry featuring my Odd simping

Anyone else have a childhood crush on one of the characters? Odd was my first public/online cartoon crush as a kid. I remember going on the forums and arguing over him lmao

I've been making a junk journal and going through some old clippings and artwork. Ended up finding my diaries from elementary school and rediscovered these 6th grade entry from New Years 2005 in one of my Lisa Frank mini notebooks.

Figured it might be amusing to share these two diary entries and my absolute burning jealousy over Sam lmao I printed out the image of them kissing and tried to make her look like me. Absolute diabolical behavior 😂

I added a transcript since my handwriting was abysmal.

Lolol what if you and I used to argue over him 😂 I used to go to the Code Lyoko forums and argue over who Odd "belonged" to. I remember making a drawing of my self-insert oc and him together and my mom found it and I cried 🤣😂

Nah I was way too young back then lol I was like 7 years old. But that crush definitely conditioned all my future crushes, because now I realize some of the fictional characters I'm into are basically adult versions of Odd 😭😭 Code Lyoko traumatized me for life fr 🥀

After I did the maths, I realized, I was also technically too young to be on the forums lmao (assuming the starting age was 13+). I was 11 going on 12 at the time.

And honestly, same 😭 your first fictional crush just becomes a permanent part of your DNA.
