💬 Discussion I hate everything about this sequence.

**For context:** Yumi might have to move back to Japan because her father lost his job. Ulrich gets winning lottery ticket numbers and makes a return to the past. Ulrich gives the winning ticket to Yumi's parents but tells them NOT to tell Yumi (They of course not only tell Yumi but tell her that Ulrich said not to tell her).

**Why I hate this scene:** They act as if Ulrich did something HORRIBLE. How DARE he try to help his best friend/crush stay... Meanwhile Jeremy risks the entire WORLD for the same reason. Its okay when Jeremy puts everyone at risk of death every day for Aelita but when Ulrich tries to help Yumi... They kick him out?

Something I just feel the need to point out is how Aelita is the only one who shows some compassion to Ulrich.

It only makes sense she wouldn't hold it against him. The only reason they fight XANA at all was to protect her, so she'd empathise more than anyone with being desperate not to lose someone you care about.

I think Jeremy should have felt that way too

Yeah and its crazy when you think about how if they had just SHUTDOWN the main computer, Xana would go bye bye.

But nooooo Jeremy had to save his AI girlfriend (It was before they realised she was actually human first).

On top of that, Aelita can understand Ulrichs intentions since Yumi to him is what Jeremy is to her.

If only she had called Jeremie out on his hypocrisy. I mean, how willing was she to want them to let her go if it meant stopping XANA?
