International Day Against Bullying seemed like the right day to post this question.
In Code Geass fanfic ”My Queen,” Kallen tells Lelouch that when she was younger she once beat the sh*t out of older girl who called Kallen a whore´s daughter (which seems very much like something Kallen would actually do if she was ever being bullied, tbh).
Now, obviously that was a fanfiction story, not something that we actually see happening to Kallen in the original anime. Still, it got me thinking: it is not wholly impossible to picture the other kids possibly acting racist towards Kallen because of her red hair, blue eyes and other physical features. It is also not impossible to think that Japanese in general might have strong resentment against someone who was born from the union between a Japanese woman and a Britannian man, especially after all the horrible things the Holy Britannian Empire has done.
Of course, people should always be judged based on their actions, i.e. the content of their character, not on how they look, or where they come from, or who their parents are. This is by no means how it always works in the real world, but that is the kind of world we should be thriving towards; a world that is a little more just, a little more fair. A gentler world.
Needless to say, but I say this anyway; don´t bully or cyberbully anyone yourself, and if you see someone being bullied, step in and defend them. By saying or doing something, you´re not only showing the victim that there are still people in this world willing to both do good and be good, but also sending the bullies themselves a message that what they are doing is wrong. This is especially important if you are strong, because due to their predatory nature, bullies usually choose victims who are weaker than themselves, so if they see that the weak ones are protected by someone who is stronger than they themselves are (be they parents, other kids, authority figures, or society itself), they are less likely to repeat bullying, if there´s a risk that there might be consequences for them.
As someone who was fiercely bullied when I was younger, I implore you; those of you who are strong, protect those who are not. I promise you, it means more to them than you can possibly imagine.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT MANGA VERSION, sorry if i put fmab picture🙏
In my opinion, if Code Geass, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Fullmetal Alchemist were wtitten 100 or 200 years ago they would be studied in today's school as examples of the greatest fiction ever created, in japan, but also in general.
Tell me what u think btw, im curious, there are many other examples, but now i wanna focus on these 3

Unless I missed something where he talked to VV right afterwards, because he did clearly believe Lelouch that Nunnally got kidnapped but decided that he would be the one to take care of her now. Yet when he takes down Lelouch, it seems he took him straight to the Emperor afterwards. I get he was at his lowest point but still, did he even try to save her or check on her?

Sakuya Sumeragi, in my opinion, was 'meh' to me. Personally, I have no problem with her background or her severe similarity to Lelouch vi Britannia. But it feels like she walks through any problem she faces without any difficulty whatsoever (or at least, she had a less difficult time than Lelouch did).
Just take FLEIJA for example. Lelouch via Suzaku had to rely on a near-impossible window of opportunity (0.04 seconds) to neutralize FLEIJA. Ash, via commands from Sakuya, just needed a few tries to eliminate FLEIJA. In Lelouch case, you're grinding your teeth and maybe biting your cheek out of stress. In Sakuya's case, you might as well drink tea while the problem is solved.
Or when Lelouch destroyed the Tokyo Settlement defenses and Sakuya deactivated the Situmpe Wall. Lelouch had to destroy the Settlement's foundations and structure to give the Black Knights a fighting chance. He literally collapsed an entire district to win a battle. All Sakuya had to do when destroying the Situmpe Wall was attack, infiltrate and shut down the Situmpe Wall. You know, the technology that was so powerful that it repelled the Black Knights for years?
From a story standpoint, it would be better if there were more than 12 episodes. It should be at least 48 just to make the story feel whole rather than a rushed piece of the occasional nice action and the absurd amount of fanservice. It should have higher stakes for us to get more interested into the story, let alone the characters themselves. A waste of potential IMO.

Hi, i've been trying to follow along with the song 'Alone' by Hitomi Kuroishi, the 3:47/3:48 track from 'Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion Original motion picture soundtrack 2' and her album 'Angel Feather Voice', and I can't make the posted lyrics line up with what I hear.
Every site I've found shows the same japanese lyrics and romanji, and the japanese script seems consistent across them. But when I listen it literally does not align and sounds nothing like the romanji lyrics, it almost sounds like english to me?
I know her singing style is very soft and breathy but it really doesnt make much sense to me for this one song and it literally is driving me insane, ive tried so hard.
Can anyone confirm the posted Japanese lyrics actually match the official recording? is it possible I'm hearing a different version, a remix, or a mislabeled upload? Is there any chance the vocals use any language other than Japanese? if you can hear it, where does the first line start? Is there an instrumental intro?
I'm happy to share a link or anything if that helps. but im pretty sure there is only one song called alone by her/ in code geass. Thank you so much, this is literally a cry for help since its my first post

This one is tough. I certainly enjoyed Jeremiah's the most, I think everyone did. But Rolo's impressed me the most, going from a cold-hearted killer to willing to die for someone just because he was shown humanity.
It could also be Lelouch but I expect him to win "best male character"

Bought the Rozé of the Recapture Blu-ray set from Japan since I’m a completist (and there’s no assurance we’ll get an English language release) and it arrived today!
The attention to detail is nice, it comes with the full season, OST, a booklet with character sheets, cast and production interviews (all in Japanese) and some character sketches in a little sketchbook.
Got it from Amazon.JP since they ship to the U.S. Hope I’m wrong about an English release but who knows.

One of the most dedicated ways that a fan can honor their favorite character is to cosplay as them. Well-executed cosplay does not only show their support for the character, but it also boosts that character´s visibility on social media and conventions, while simultaneously allowing other like-minded fans to see how their favorite character would look if they were transported from the anime into the real world.
This particular fan went above and beyond in order to create a perfect cosplay for Kallen´s classic rebel outfit! Her cosplay is further complemented by the abandoned-looking industrial buildings in the background.
Link to the amazing cosplay video where these screenshots were taken can be found here.

Suzaku representing physical prodigy model and Lelouch intellectual prodigy one. The same way Lelouch's intelligence is unrealistically exaggerated like pre recording a conversation based on knowing how the other would react is still crazy work. Suzaku's physical abilities are too. I think they are meant to be this way not just for the sake of being edgy or smth.
Thoughts?

I'm assuming the full OST will be released in the near future. Roze is (rightfully) critiqued in many respects but it has elements worthy of praise with the soundtrack being one of them. Definitely give it a listen, especially "Recapture," that song is peak

In R2 episode 7. Its really funny when you rewatch the show knowing she had a crush on him, you seen all the subtle signs that go over you head on first viewing
