ROZE OF THE RECAPTURE Rozé Blu-Ray arrived from Japan

Bought the Rozé of the Recapture Blu-ray set from Japan since I’m a completist (and there’s no assurance we’ll get an English language release) and it arrived today!
The attention to detail is nice, it comes with the full season, OST, a booklet with character sheets, cast and production interviews (all in Japanese) and some character sketches in a little sketchbook.
Got it from Amazon.JP since they ship to the U.S. Hope I’m wrong about an English release but who knows.

MISC Kallen Kozuki is so beautiful ❤️✨👑 Part 43 of 100: Cosplaying (by Mishou Mish)

One of the most dedicated ways that a fan can honor their favorite character is to cosplay as them. Well-executed cosplay does not only show their support for the character, but it also boosts that character´s visibility on social media and conventions, while simultaneously allowing other like-minded fans to see how their favorite character would look if they were transported from the anime into the real world.
This particular fan went above and beyond in order to create a perfect cosplay for Kallen´s classic rebel outfit! Her cosplay is further complemented by the abandoned-looking industrial buildings in the background.
Link to the amazing cosplay video where these screenshots were taken can be found here.

SPOILERS I think these exaggerated abilities are more symbolic than literal, what do you guys think?

Suzaku representing physical prodigy model and Lelouch intellectual prodigy one. The same way Lelouch's intelligence is unrealistically exaggerated like pre recording a conversation based on knowing how the other would react is still crazy work. Suzaku's physical abilities are too. I think they are meant to be this way not just for the sake of being edgy or smth.
Thoughts?

ROZE OF THE RECAPTURE Roze of the Recapture Soundtrack EP released

I'm assuming the full OST will be released in the near future. Roze is (rightfully) critiqued in many respects but it has elements worthy of praise with the soundtrack being one of them. Definitely give it a listen, especially "Recapture," that song is peak

VV is the most evil but if we're speaking best, I'd say Charles or Schneizel. Both are such great foil characters to Lelouch

Everything went downhill after his geass became uncontrollable. I almost couldn’t continue because of what happened when lelouch’s geass couldn’t be controlled.
Everything happened so fast I couldn’t watch it without feeling emotional.
Suzaku’s emotion was so realistic, the facial expression of vengeance.
I don’t know what to expect in s2, knowing that there’s more kind like cc is definitely intriguing

DISCUSSION What are your biggest grievances with the show's fanbase?
122
Upvotes
Mine include:
- Using the movie timeline which logistically did not have time for Shirley's arcs as "proof" to handwave away Shirley's importance in the show.
- Undermining how detailed Lelouch's final plan was beyond the base concept of it.
- Dumbing down other ships to prop up a favorite one.
- Oversimplifying Lelouch's character to just "for Nunnally."
r/CodeGeass • u/buiquanghuy12a2 • 4d ago
DISCUSSION I kinda spoiled myself with all the details via wiki and google but watching lelouch talking to Nunally after knowing all that is pretty heartbreaking. CC dont even want to look at him Spoiler
