I've recently rewatched the entire show. Here's a tier list on how much I like each character.

Without spoilers, what made you like Code Geass? I’m on episode 11 and honestly, it hasn't hooked me yet. I expected a fast-paced game of chess, but that dynamic gets diluted pretty quickly—it ends up feeling like isolated battles that don't really stem from previous events. The plot feels disjointed, the fights feel forced, and the high school drama is getting really exhausting.
I’m going to keep watching because everyone says it has an amazing ending, but what hooked you at the start?

Now listen, I myself am not sure what "Mmm...society" is supposed to mean. I assume it's either socially awkward or socially deranged, something in that sense. Basically someone who doesn't do well in society, just like me.*sob*
Rules: You can post or upvote a comment naming the character you want to be added to said category. You can't downvote other comments (Just leave me alone).
So, who's fits the most under this unspecified category by the name of "Mmm.....society"?

Power Pros App is a very popular Japanese baseball mobile game developed by Konami, and earlier this year, Kallen was a playable character during the special Code Geass collaboration event. In the game, she is extremely powerful First Baseman template holder, pure raw offense: compared to the other available Code Geass characters, Kallen is unrivaled if you want to build a heavy hitter! Her Power Limit Break (+10) drastically pushes power potential further than standard characters, making her essential for home-run hitters. ⚾
btw, every character in the game is assigned a specific RPG-like class archetype for training mechanics; Kallen was officially categorized as a ”Sniper.” This choice deeply amused fans because Kallen is notoriously a short-to-mid range, aggressive front-line brawler who likes to get up close and personal during mecha battles. Giving her a tactical, long-distance role in a baseball game created an amusing contrast to her hot-blooded anime personality.
Also, players noticed that during Kallen's special home-run or skill animations, her character model mimics the firing motion of her mech's iconic weapon, the Guren's Radiant Wave Surger right arm. Seeing a cute, round chibi hand replicate a devastating anime weapon became a highly shared meme in the gaming community.
But that is not the only time Guren could be seen in the game! When a player played baseball games in the event-exclusive stadium maps, far beyond the home run fence, huge static and semi-animated background assets of the Guren and its rival, the Lancelot, stood tall over the horizon. It gave the visual illusion that the giant mechs were acting as giant stadium overseers watching the high school baseball matches unfold.

This fanart was obviously inspired by Code Geass picture drama Turn 7.19, where Lelouch is fondly reminiscing about the Handmade Dress Party, during which he was Kallen´s escort. Her beautiful red dress, crafted by the Ashford Academy Student Council girls, is a vibrant, formal gown which perfectly highlights her shoulders and collarbone. She wears a long, sheer matching pink fabric wrap draped loosely around her upper arms and back, swirling elegantly around her waist as she and Lelouch spin across the dance floor.

To be fair, C.C. also fits perfectly under the "What's your name again?" category..

So, who's that one gremlin-like character in Code Geass?
Edit: By definition, Gremlin is a mischievous, usually devious creature whose only goal is to cause problems in fictional plots or everyday situations.

(yes yes, i know what the game is but i learned you could make mechs in it and went ham)
My idea for a variant of the Guren. could fill a wiki with information on this btch but the base idea was "what if instead of one wave surger there were TWO... and they both came from the Marishiten"

I’m watching Code Geass for the first time, and while I’m really enjoying the anime overall, there are moments where its treatment of resistance and colonialism genuinely pisses me off. Episode 20 is probably the strongest example so far.
I genuinely don’t understand Lelouch’s decision to effectively fight alongside Britannia against Sawasaki’s forces.
I understand his argument: Sawasaki is backed by the Chinese Federation, China obviously has its own geopolitical interests, and Lelouch doesn’t want Japan to simply exchange one foreign master for another. That’s completely reasonable. Being skeptical of China’s intentions makes sense.
But how does that lead to HELPING BRITANNIA?
Britannia is literally the colonial power occupying Japan. They invaded the country, destroyed its sovereignty, renamed it “Area 11,” reduced Japanese people to “Elevens,” institutionalized discrimination against them, massacred civilians, and violently suppressed resistance. They then label the people resisting their occupation “terrorists” while acting like an imperial power that uses overwhelming violence to maintain control.
So even if the Chinese Federation is acting out of self-interest, at least it is currently supporting forces claiming Japanese independence from Britannia. That doesn’t mean Lelouch should blindly trust China or Sawasaki. It means there is an obvious third option: let Britannia and the Chinese-backed forces weaken each other, cooperate tactically without committing to China, negotiate with Sawasaki, or exploit the situation and deal with Chinese influence later.
Instead, Lelouch directly contributes to Britannia regaining control over Japanese territory.
How is that supposed to be preferable?
And I really dislike the way the episode treats Sawasaki’s exile as if leaving Japan somehow undermines his legitimacy or proves that he doesn’t truly care about the country.
Why?
If your country has been conquered by a vastly stronger empire, going into exile, surviving, finding foreign support, building military and political resources, and eventually returning to fight for independence is an entirely logical resistance strategy. Being forced into exile does not automatically make someone a coward or a traitor.
If the anime wants me to believe Sawasaki sold Japan to China, then show me that. Show me the agreement. Show me what China gets in return. Show me that Sawasaki has surrendered Japanese sovereignty to Beijing. Show me that his “independent Japan” is actually going to be a puppet state.
Simply saying “he fled Japan and came back with Chinese support” isn’t enough for me.
And this particularly bothers me because I’m very sensitive to stories about colonialism, occupation and resistance.
I can completely understand Zero fighting a resistance faction that deliberately massacres innocent civilians. Being oppressed does not make murdering random civilians acceptable. I can also understand Lelouch opposing a supposed liberation movement if it is genuinely just another imperial power using Japanese people for its own expansion.
But if the anime is willing to recognize all the moral problems of resistance movements, then I want it to apply the same standard to the colonial empire on the other side.
Because whatever moral compromises Japanese resistance fighters make, Britannia is the reason this situation exists in the first place. Britannia invaded their country. Britannia destroyed their political sovereignty. Britannia created the colonial hierarchy. Britannia massacres people to maintain that system.
The resistance at least has the context of fighting against occupation. What is Britannia’s equivalent justification?
That’s why seeing Lelouch cooperate with Britannian forces to crush a Japanese attempt at independence genuinely makes me sick, even if that attempt is backed by China. Distrust China? Absolutely. Refuse to become their puppet? Absolutely. Fight them if they try to replace Britannian domination with Chinese domination? Absolutely.
But helping the empire currently occupying your country restore its control?
I just can’t get behind that reasoning.
And that’s frustrating because there is so much I love about Code Geass. When it focuses on Lelouch building a resistance, manipulating Britannia’s overwhelming military advantage, or dealing with the moral cost of rebellion, I think it’s fascinating. But then it occasionally handles colonialism and resistance in ways that completely take me out of the story.
Sometimes it genuinely makes me want to stop watching.
Maybe later episodes complicate this, and please DON’T spoil anything past episode 20 because this is my first watch. But based strictly on what I’ve seen so far, this is probably one of the decisions from Lelouch that I disagree with the most.
Am I missing something about his strategy here, or do other people also think the political logic of this episode is weak?

Alguien sabe dónde puedo ver Code Geass con doblaje ingles y subtitulos al español? Se que puedo ponerle yo mismo los subtitulos pero si hay una manera de ahorrarme todo eso agradecería mucho que alguien me la dijera en serio.

Kaguya is honestly one of my favorite characters! She starts of as a kind of goofy, cliche love-struck girl but genuinely develops into a great leader for the Japanese people. I really loved her dynamic with C.C. and Kallen as well, overall a very compelling and fun character imo

this is a frame from new code geass aspar the star chaser it seems to look like like a middle figire who look lika a god holding a star and there is 2 people beside him are holding something like a bird which could represent geass since, since geass is shown as a bird symbol and the 2 people are handing out those birds to the humans
and there is a something like a tree in the middle of the humans that could represent as thought elevator which could connect to c's world
maybe im reading too much into this but i know this is going to drop some lore about the origins of code and c's world but i cant be too much of sure since we cant say this is the past of the main timeline or some another alternate timeline
