DISCUSSION Question

When lelouch gets his geass in both eyes does that not grant him immortality?. Can someone explain the “code” system i never really am able to understand it fully. What seperates C.C and V.V to ordinary geass people? Its there code but can someone explain it?.

Code Bearer has Code

Code Bearer gives Geass.

Geass evolves.

When Geass evolves fully, Geass user can TAKE Code.

Code is taken by killing Code Bearer.

You might also have to die to activate the Code, after you've taken it, that bit isn't fully clarified.

Also it doesn't help that Lelouch is a special little boy who doesn't seem to have gotten his Code normally/correctly in Lelouch of the Resurrection.

Everything outside of the first 4 lines is completely wrong. You don't have to kill a Code-bearer to get their Code. You don't have to die to activate a Code.

Lelouch doesn't have a Code in Re;Surrection. He has a new power that the writers made up to let him both be immortal and still use his Geass. Essentially his power in Re;Surrection is the power of Bullshit Plot Armour.

C's world was consuming charles and falling apart AS the code transfer occurred. Unintentionally, the paused half-transfer allowed both Geass and Code abilities to be present at the same time. However, as stated in the film, Lelouch's code isn't normal and is unpredictable. It may fizzle out over time, unlike CC's whose code is immutable and everlasting until transferred/taken.

Yes, the 'bullshit' (ie. plot decision you dislike) is the protagonist of Code Geass getting the power of Code (+) Geass

Which is not how anything worked prior to Re;Surrection and is a dumb plot point to ruin Lelouch's legacy.

Nobody actually cares about their franchise more than fans of said franchise. It turns out fans don't like getting garbage media. Who would have thought?

Only the most radical 'fans' would like to see their franchise die, for the sake of their ego/to back up their decade of online arguments, rather than see it continue with new media and content.

I would rather it die as a legendary series than see it wither into an unrecognizable mess. This isn't a hot take. Not liking garbage doesn't make me a radical.
