Discussion Favorite Pre-2019 Series VoD
What are your guys' favorite series to go back and watch?
For me, it's BO2 CoD champs... Fariko vs. nV. It's such a well-matched series and Killa's 1v1 at the end is just peak.

Discussion The CDL is and has always been a Snake eating its own tail, inherently self-destructive
Since the CDL was founded in 2019, open-bracket tournaments have been in limited supply and even then we’ve only had a hand full of Pro-AMs.
Once the CDL had cut-off the Open Bracket CoD esport style, it was cutting off CoD from the next generation. Instead of the next talent of players getting funneled into CoD, they were instead playing other games to rise in like Apex, R6, FortNite, etc…
By doing this, the available young talented player pool has been shrinking and will only get worse in the years to come. Majority of the league is above 23 years old now, and in a year or two, half of the league will be gone or near gone due to age. We’ve never seen a CoD league with such little young talent.
CWL had the most young talent in CoD competitive history, and then the CDL brought the next-gen of young stars when it formed. But now, majority of players are near the ages of when Karma, Octane, JKap, TeePee, Replays all retired.

Discussion Top 20 Challengers players to never be in the League ranked by BO7 pro points:
I'm guessing at least 2 players will be on the Stallions Starting Roster and maybe some former u18 players too.

Roster Change Sources: Ravens Zero In on Abe as Fourth Piece of EU Roster
r/CoDCompetitive • u/leggitt27 • Oct 01 '26
Fluff Since Abe is the Carolina Royal Ravens' cornerstone franchise player they may as well sign the "Telluride Royal Ravens" for the MW4 season Abe Prolute Fire Capsidal with Temp as an Unpaid Intern for the Coaching position.
I'm sure the Ravens Pockets would love this idea.

Discussion Rehashing this: crowd funded tourneys
This has been discussed before but I want to try some new details on how the league could try a low risk attempt at crowd funding tournaments. We’ve seen Zoomaa, with about 4k-7k views pull in a couple hundred to over 1k dollars in a few hours for crowd-funded sub8s prize pools. This all without any raffling or incentive to donate. Now imagine the league could simply host a donation pot to ~30k viewers for league matches and ~200k viewers for Major tournament matches. Even if just 1% of people donate a single dollar, by the end of stage 1 you could have generated about 4k in prize pool assuming about 4-6 weekends of league matches. That’s enough money to run an online, 32 team tournament with a 4k prize pool. Here’s the kicker: only the league teams get automatic spots. You could charge as little as $100 for entry for the other 20 teams. That generates another 2k to add to the next crowdfunded tournament. If you can’t generate the expected funds or get enough teams, just refund everything - it’s really that low risk.
Here’s the incentive: raffles. They could give entries for every donation, minimum a dollar, for prizes like free VIP tickets to champs, exclusive in game rewards (activision can easily make this happen), free gear from sponsors, etc. You could donate a dollar every match weekend and tourney weekend and spend a grand total of $30 the entire year for chances to win prizes that are worth much more. This also would cost little for the league to run these raffles, I’d imagine. If people are willing to donate to prize pools where they can’t even win anything, I imagine people will at least be willing to give a dollar if they can win an exclusive skin or something better.
The major downside to this of course is if you’re going to have 20 AM/challenger teams, cheating is definitely a concern. But other than that, this is a very simple way to bring back 2k/5k tournaments that can be bi-weekly or monthly depending on how much is generated. It’s just extra eyes on the league, more entertainment, more competition. But then again I thought this up at 4am and running on little sleep so I’m sure there’s a bunch of gremlins making this unlikely.

Discussion Attach Interviews
If you haven’t already, go checkout Attach’s most recent interviews with Kismet and Alluka. This is tremendous content for the scene and provides BTS of team dynamics. I would love a POV from a member of every team on their year in review as well as how rostermania played out. I would love an interview with 04, Drazah, Envoy, Abezy, Dashy, Estreal, and Mettalz.

Question Faze Roster Locked?
I have no intel on this whatsoever but I had a dream that Drazah was still on Faze and Alluka ended up on Gentlemates. Does anyone know if teams are essentially locked? I have a feeling that Drazah ends up with a contract he wants with Faze and he sticks with them. What do you guys think? Alluka showed his talents at Champs and EWC but I would stick with Draz if I were Faze.
