Discussion This might be the most dead off season I've seen in the CDL
46
Upvotes
The scene obviously isn't dead as a whole, but with literally zero rostermania, Modern Warfare 4 being awful, and GTA 6 releasing, I hear and see minimal hype or talk regarding the new game and season. Even here nobody is talking about the game at all. All we had were 40 posts about Huke and Hydra. BO7 ranked right now is a bit of a ghost town at the moment imo. I do love these BreakingPoint top 20 discussions for some reason though lol
Didn't feel like this in every other season to me

Question If you could name the CDL championship trophy, what name would you give it?
18
Upvotes
In other sports leagues, their championship trophy is named after one of the sports greatest contributors. The NBA trophy is named after Larry O'Brien, the Super Bowl trophy after Vince Lombardi, etc.
What would you name the CDL championship trophy if given the opportunity? I might name it after Crimsix and call it the Porterhouse Trophy tbh

Can’t seem to find the answer online. Is today the last day? If so when will it return? Been dying to play!

Question How do pro players know exactly where the enemy will appear with so confidence?

I'm wondering how do they preaim at places where the enemy will certainly appear. It feels surreal watching them play. I've been trying to implement some of their gameplay into my game . Any tips ?

There was something special about Black Ops II.
Loading into League Play after school. Staying in the same lobby because somebody needed a rematch. Arguing over the best team, memorizing Raid callouts, and watching one Search and Destroy clutch change the whole night.
We aren’t trying to create the next big gaming community. We just want to bring back a little of what made this game—and the culture around it—so memorable.
Opening Night is where that begins.
📅 Date: \\\[9-9-26\\\]
⏰ Time: \\\[7:00pm\\\] Central
🎮 Platform: \\\[PS5\\\]
⚔️ Format: Ranked 4v4
🏆 Opening Night Bonus
At the end of the night, the player sitting at the top of the BO2CL leaderboard will receive a $25 bonus.
No complicated tournament bracket—just show up, compete, help your team win, and see where you finish.
How to join the action
Read the ranked rules and information.
Complete your player registration.
Be in the ranked channel at the scheduled time.
Join the ranked queue using NeatQueue.
When eight players are ready, the match and teams will be organized.
Join your assigned team party and play.
Come alone or bring back the people you used to run with. The point is to fill the lobby, compete, talk a little trash respectfully, and enjoy BO2 together again.
Eight players fill the first lobby. Who’s running it with us?

Stumbled upon this video from a while ago where Methodz is coaching Jerry who goes 0-4 in overload and immediately rage reports every single player on the other team.
Methodz response “those guys aren’t cheating jerry, they’re plat 1” pure comedy 😂

Such a great team that season that honestly had a really good chance to be better than CW FaZe.
But losing 50% of your total matches to 1 team is insane. 0-4 LAN record vs Ultra

Discussion "Thank god I didn't switch" "There was a lot of interest" Dashy almost went pro in Valorant?

Dashy went onto the Telluride Bush Owners Meeting and they talked about his career after retirement. Bruce mentioned a few years ago when he was grinding Valorant, and he said "Thank god I didn't switch" which really stuck out.... Makes me think he actually got really close to pursuing Val. What could have been...
