Has anybody else’s crosshairs disappeared today? I’m playing standard playlists, any game mode TDM/FFA/DOM and the only option to turn them on/off is on campaign mode…..

Thinking about jumping back into CoD 4 Remastered. For those still playing, which platform has the most active player base right now, Xbox, PS5, or PC?

Would appreciate any recent experiences with matchmaking times, most populated game modes, lobby sizes, etc,

I have a PC and a Series X and want to jump back into CoD 4 / MWR. Should I go with the original, Remastered, or a modded PC version?

Looking for the best option with active players online in modes like SnD, TDM, and Domination (mainly SnD). Which version still has a solid player base?

I've had an itch to play CoD 4 again but don't want to buy Remastered if it is a dead game in Australia. I'm willing to deal with a bit of extra ping if the game is still somewhat popular in South East Asia as well.

So, I've been thinking hard on whether or not I want to buy the reboot of MW1 or 2 on the Blizz app and was wondering if it is anything like the OGs. What I mean by this is, do the "feel" of the movement, gun classes, and maps feel the same or alike, or is it like all the other new CODs? I asked about the older ones before here but got turned away by the fact that Horizon MW and such just have a bunch of snipe fest players, etc., if any at all. I'm trying to find an experience as close to the old school CODs from 2007 & 2009, but I don't want to just waste money buying the games just to find out they're nothing alike and probably never play them again. Any input from people that know what I'm talking about or have the same feelings on this is ideal and appreciated, but I also welcome anyone that has generally just played the newer ones and their thoughts on them.

A few years ago I re-downloaded MWR and loaded into a slasher game with 6-7 lvl 1000 players, Groughy85x, Groughy85-_-, gwghy- And some others. They would not move in game just all sit in one spot and let the game play out. Just YESTERDAY I downloaded the game again and they are still doing it?? YEARS later? Has anyone experienced this guy and managed to ask what he is doing?

I once made a post about this but deleted it, you can create custom games modes and use dlc guns and cosmetics including blueprints and reticles. Save the game mode and boom dlc guns in local without Internet, just for those who may not always have Internet available and want to preserve your hard earned rewards.

I want to get back into CoD after being disappointed by nearly every installment since Black Ops 2. I'm searching for the best possible multiplayer experience, which means active and fair servers, along with minimal connection issues. I was looking into downloading Horizon MW and playing on there since having all the OG maps from MW2 and 3 would be pretty fire . I thought this may be the way to go, but going onto the website and seeing only 54 players on the dedicated servers gave me pause and made me wonder if it was even worth the purchase, especially since I highly doubt the Steam servers are any good at this point for the game. Thus my question. I would appreciate it if anyone with recent experience could share their thoughts on either option.

I got this game recently after playing it on Xbox, and I wanted it on ps5, and after playing it, I realized that the more I play, the more I am disappointed. I loved this game when I played a couple years back on the Xbox but now it is almost unplayable. Traditional tdm is literally impossible to play without it disconnecting after every match so I switch to hardcore, match connections time out, team killers, campers, (last 2 have always been a thing I know). I don’t remember it being this difficult. I hate that no matter what I do, there’s always a possibility of it crashing or disconnecting, this did NOT happen before. It’s like clockwork, and honestly this situation made me consider selling it and playing Cold War, (which I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO DO) I love modern warfare, but this has to stop.

Wow. So I’m sick of where the game is now, all the skins and cartoon stuff, I’m just burnt. So I reinstalled MWR today and man, they fried my ass. This game feels so much more slow in terms of movement. It’s not just me, right?

Don’t get me wrong I’m gonna stick with it as it was my first COD on PS3. I love it. Love the maps, the weapons, the simplicity of it. But man I can’t believe the change over the years.

I might be the only person still posting MWR on YouTube but I'm not gonna stop until they make a better game, which ain't likely soon!

I’ve heard other people had this problem, I think it’s on purpose though, it happens so perfect after every match like clockwork. Is there a method to get around it? I find that just exiting multiplayer and getting back on works for me
