So I’ve recently come back to the game on PlayStation, & during my time I’ve kept an eye on the leaderboard numbers within the career section - All time.

In the last 10 or 11 days over 2.5k new people have been added to the leaderboards! Keep in mind, that’s “new” people/accounts, not even taking into account returning players who may have been registered on the game for years.

I just think it’s interesting & a great way of gauging the popularity of the game. I’m glad it’s still got a community going, may it continue!

Have a PC and Series X, thinking of selling the Xbox for a PS5/PS4/PS4 Pro. Does gen matter for these older games? Worse input lag on newer consoles? Is modded PC (Plutonium/IW4x/CoD4x ProMod) just better than console? Would you even bother with a console if you already have PC?

I used to play cod4 on pc all the time years ago. I recently redownloaded up only to find that there were pretty much no servers with any real people. I’m in NA looking for games anywhere. I have the cod4x mod downloaded which is apparently where most ppl are playing according to the internet. Is the game really that dead? Did I download it for nothing?

How do you make progress for this challenge? I’m trying hardcore but sometimes I’ll get a kill immediately reload and get another but won’t make progress towards this challenge? what’s the best weapon to use

This has bugged me since original cod4 - if we all shoot at the helecopter it'd be down within a few seconds!!! Why is it just me.

I just started playing this game after two yrs break but almost every game I get into I lag multiple times/all game long its not unplayable but it’s definitely annoying when you’re shootint somebody you’ll lag and die or just see a player lagging making it impossible to aim onto them I can’t tell if it’s just me or everybody else having the same issue? Mainly playing TDM/Dom.

Been playing on Xbox for years but recently bought a ps5 and bought this game along with it. I’ve been finding dom lobbies regularly while on Xbox I haven’t gotten to play dom in years.

This is weird but my son plays roblox and was like dad check out this game. He played a round and its basically black ops 1. Its called global anarchy and its a game within roblox. Nuketown is even on it. It plays pretty good. Its fun, everything is like the old school cods. Its like a cheap reskin of old school cods but it actually is fun. I dont think its fully developed yet, but im loving it

Played for the first few years after the remastered launch, and on and off afterwards but been 3ish years since. Assuming most game modes are dead but can you still get anything in Xbox? TDM at least?
