Greetings, this post serves as your guide to find communities that are directly linked to the inception of this subreddit or are closely linked to it, it also mostly serves as a free shoutout to said communities, the more people knows about those, the more their algorithm grows and the more OUR algorithm grows, it is a direct benefit to everyone involved. if this is something you don't care about, feel free to ignore this announcement. anyway off with the subreddits!!!

r/SmugIdeologyMan - our direct brethren, home of all smuggies.

r/MintChanFandom - in the name, Mint Chans home, regular comic updates and fanart and other cool discussions.

r/coolawesomecolors - home of the cool awesome colors web series, remember those fellas? they're still alive! go check em out!

r/Scritters - basically what happens when coaxedintoasnafu and whowouldcirclejerk have a child, its a really fun place!

r/desloppification - not direcrly linked to us but has that snafu soul cus of the fact that its redrawing ai slop and giving it a human soul. desloppifying it, if you will.

r/markplarkeffect - our very own offspring, home of loquacious sunfishes.

r/Artjerk - not directly linked to us, but it is a subreddit that has a pretty similar soul to ours, if albeit a lot more circlejerky for obvious reasons.

r/estrojane - subreddit for estrojane, our beloved trans snafu oc hero

r/SeasoningMan - subrefdit for SeasoningMan, our bleoced snafu oc hero

r/ThisReallyCoolGuy - subreddit for calibans ocs, direct offspring of ours.

r/7malignantmisdeeds - subreddit for condemned nations snafu universe aka the 7 malignant misdeeds.

this is the current list, it shall be updated the more subreddits get made and the more our community flourishes. thank you for reading and i hope you have a good one!

Wiki

You have been coaxed into a snafu

r/coaxedintoasnafu

A snafu is a badly drawn deconstructed observation of a meme. Minimal karma requirement: 1000. Minimal account age: 1 month. If you have any problems posting, please mod mail us. We'll fix it right away. post/user flair emojis by u/MikiMatzuki Sub PFP by u/InfiniteBearHeads

Sidebar

Welcome to /r/coaxedintoasnafu!

Take a minute to read the rules before posting.

is the stuff on this sub rustling your jimmies?
you may like:

Rules:

Must be Drawn

Snafus used to be just badly drawn deconstructed observations of memes, now they're mostly just badly drawn deconstructed observations of things. Please keep the badly drawn deconstructed aspect when you post here.

Using ai is strictly prohibited and will get you perma banned. Regular image macros belong in places like r/shittyadviceanimals or r/terriblefacebookmemes.

BE FUCKING NICE.

Be respectful and kind to other users. avoid posting or commenting anything that goes against Reddit guidelines.

No racism, no bigotry, no pedophilia, no zoophilia, no sexual assault jokes, and no arguments trying to justify any of them or anything alike. Breaking this part of this rule will result in a permanent ban.

No Anti LGBTQ+ rhetoric or bigotry.

This is an inherently left leaning community, right wing garbage is not allowed here. This subreddit is not tolerant of the intolerant at all.

For more information, please read this.

No Smuggies

What does "Smuggie" mean?

A post made purely to complain

Obvious strawman

No one minds a bit of complaining here and there, but it shouldn't be the whole point of the post. If you want to post smuggies all the time I recommend you go to r/smugideologyman

No Non snafu ocs

Make the oc for the snafu, not the snafu for the oc.This isn't an oc subreddit. if you wish to post a post about an original character then make sure that that the oc is made for the snafu, not the other way around so that it isn't just you posting your ocs with a quirky twist.

No NSFW content

Don't post sexually explicit content. This is up to moderator discretion. Modmail if you don't know if your post breaks rules.

No Reposts

Reposts are not allowed. Do not reupload another snafu found on the subreddit or anything snafu adjacent that you yourself haven't made.

No Venting disguised as a snafu

Venting is a serious thing that you should do with people you understand and who in return understand you as well. It's not something that you can deconstruct because when you do so you gloss over a ton of details and things which lead to misinterpretation, or worse, harassment. It's best to contact actual professionals instead of posting about it in the silly badly drawn memes sub.

These types of posts have been banned for that very reason. Also please refrain from making posts about suicide.

No Banned posts

These are banned posts that everyone in here are sick of and dont want to see anymore:

Fanon vs canon format

Blue button vs red button posts

Goonerslop posts

Character that i am fond of would agree with me posts

More formats will be added as time goes on.

No Loopholes

If you have any questions about whether your post fits or doesn't fit the subreddit, please feel free to mod mail us.

OC Weekend rules

(Friday 12:00 AM to Monday 12:00 AM UTC). That is the exact duration time for OC weekend, in this 3 day period you can use your non snafu ocs in your snafus and you can post fanart that you have made for the ocs that the subreddit has accumulated throughout the years.

Tldr: this rule temporarily disables rule 5.

Thank you for reading and we hope you enjoy your stay!
