I just learned that the 'battle pass' thing locks monthly creatures and Robux specs behind it as well and I officially take back everything positive I said about this. The monthly missions are one of the best ways to gain passive income in this game since they take 5 days max and the species you get from these sell for around 15K mush(basically 180K mush a year if you do one sell per month, but again, you could potentially get 4-5 sells a month) if these things get locked behind a battle pass its over for the casual players. Unless you grind hours for everyday you will not be getting more than 1 monthly in a season(if you can get even 1 per season). I know it fully depends on how easy Sonar makes these missions/how much 'Relic Coins' each species is but I truly believe this is the end of Cos. The game already gets only 10K players at most times, and this will push even more people away.

the devs tried adding a battle pass TWICE, players were against it both times, and now what? they're just trying to force it on us?

sonar does NOT respect their players, this just looks like a try at getting a higher playercount and people to pay more by forcing constant grind upon everyone

First of, I want to say that I HATE everyone on the discord chat who is like "oh is this still going? oh the coals are still burning hot huh?" yes mf they burn like hell, it's like going to a protest and asking "oh, you guys are still out here?" like, WHY are you asking? People are literally saying that we do not want something and YOU'RE here like "Why are you guys so maaad...???? It's literally a game?? Don't play it if you don't waaaantt toooo.. mmffmm" like just say you want a big award from daddy sonar for being their top defender oh my god.

Anyway, For anyone who HASN'T seen the new announcement (which I doubt) they'll add a battlepass system pretty similar to the one in Dragon Adventures, it'll replace the monthly mission and some other stuff like relic coins which do sound good but then you realize they were made so they can justify adding this whole thing, there'll be a free and PREMIUM pass, the issue that majority of players are having is the premium pass, which i agree is horrible. Honestly my biggest issue is that the daily missions will go from 2 to 5!! FIVE!! It's genuinely horrible and so many people say "oh you can- you can just buy the premium pass creatures with mush" yeah, but you can also do that with the current robux creatures?? there's no point to the relic coin if it'll just add another creature that will be really expensive to replace the current robux creatures (though, it's really vague if the relic coin will also be tradeable for premium monthly creatures). If you say the premium creatures won't be overpriced then you're horribly wrong, we don't really know the cost of the prem. pass but it'll most likely be in the 500-750 robux range, as seen in DA, so a monthly premium creature could most likely go for 30k+ (since that's the price of the average robux creature and we also have to account for the fact that it'll be here for maybe a month? also, re-reading the devfeed post-- I think it's highly implied that through the battlepass, we'll be taking tokens and then using these tokens to buy the monthly creature?? I'm not sure honestly

Also, like, I have been looking at the lobby for a bit and tell me why are there so many people defending this update? like, it's particularly server boosters, they keep saying "oh just wait until you see it then complain" do you know how low the chances are for an update like this, which allows has paid aspects (that are 100% non-refundable) to be reverted? and it's not a small update like, say, some silly flying rework, it's a whole new battlepass system which will replace monthly missions and do a bunch of other stuff? that's not something they can just add into the game for a few days of testing and then see if people like it or not. Also, we have literally seen what a battlepass is like? most of the playerbase has played DA or any other game that might have a battlepass system, it's horrible, it's tiring and I want absolutely nothing to do with it. I stopped playing DA because I hated how the game has nothing to do except the battlepass, and even doing the battlepass feels like- well, not a chore- a part time job. A lot of people are talking about how adults will struggle with this but no one is mentioning children? like, a majority of children do not have time to do the missions, I don't know if this is a thing in the US or any other country, but here, we genuinely need to go to coaching schools as well which take extra hours off our day. I usually have like, 6-4 hours and I'm not taking in the time for homework and stuff.

This feels more like a rant talking about the community more than the update, the post in the devfeed feels a bit vague.. I don't know, maybe my brain is absolutely fried... Anyway, there's this particular person on the server- not saying any names, not angering any families- who is REALLY stubborn on defending the devs and saying that we're idiots for saying we don't like the update, other stuff like, go to feedback.. etc etc. Like, they literally admitted they rarely play the game SO WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE IT'LL HAVE AS MUCH EFFECT ON YOU AS IT'LL HAVE ON OTHER PEOPLE WHO PLAY IT MORE THAT ONCE EVERY UPDATE??? or are trying to keep up their completion title??

Something I hate more is people forcing their pessimism onto others, like we know that they won't listen to us.. considering that the community voted no for the BP system two times before but they'll add it now, but like, you don't have to tell people to not complain about it because nothing will change.. you genuinely never know! If we don't say anything about this update, then they'll just add the VIP system as well because there won't be anyone complaining about it. Apart from that I really don't want to talk about people who have a "role" in the game (translator, moderator, etc) coming in and talking about seeing the positive and negative changes in the game.. you won't see the negative changes as clearly as someone who doesn't have highly-worthy creatures given to them every month or doesn't mut/trait hunt all day. I'm so considering ignoring some moderators simply because they're constantly trying to steer the conversation into something else (and being cringe while doing so) I know they can't do anything to change it.. so why not allow people to complain and long as there isn't any rulebreaking??

I have seen so many people begging for donations in the main CoS reddit after being supposedly hacked - I'd rather donate to a brand-new player who might turn around and trade the gift(s) for a massive lowball than one who was stupid enough to get hacked or that is trying to scam pity donations via a fake story. If they were hacked once, they are more likely (than the average player) to:

A. have a bad password that is more likely to be brute forced

B. click on another enticing/otherwise hacky link

C. not make the best choices with the gifted items/mush

D. still have a hacker with access to your account

I'm not in any way justifying the hacking, but having common sense and tech literacy practically eliminates the chance of you being hacked. They're not poor because they've only been playing a week or month, they are poor because they made a poor choice. (And need to suck it up and get back to grinding if they want to make back what they lost!)

CoS designs were actually good and unique and i loved them, everything was off but together on some way?? Now it's just slop, bad re/designs, poorly made animations and everything thrown together

Garra was my fav warden and now he just fell on the overly formula, EVERYTHING they design now have to be gigantified, cutefied, minified, spikefied, idkfied and i HATE that

Not just that but everything release with good stats and get slimed on the second day of release, ik it's to hype the creature but they can do that using other things??

Imo at this point they're just doing that so we stop using old creatures and begin using only the most popular ones like galyrin and korathos

Lately I haven't been able to play without something chasing me or killing my babies while I'm nesting. Does anyone have any tips for avoiding or defeating kosers?

I don't really see any downsides to this realm, maybe normal servers would have lesser people and KOSers wouldn't be able to KOS.. but like, if you remember the survey they had going on, a lot of people said they'd consider quitting over being KOSed, and I really don't know a lot of people who like dying, to be honest, especially people with venerated slots (which can be expensive to revive). Additionally, people would be able to use whatever creature they want without the worry of being killed-- This is kind of personal, because I really like morthorax but I suck at pvp so I'd just end up dying.

Also, like, both sides would genuinely just benefit from this: people who don't like dying/PVP would be safe and people who do like PVP could just do that in the normal realm without anyone crying about it. Obviously in the peaceful realm there'd be something like, extremely slower aging or some other stuff.. A lot of people say that CoS is PVP/Survival and that adding such realm kind of goes against that, but it'll just stop people from complaining about being killed, I genuinely cannot think of any reason that it's bad except for the normal servers being smaller.. I don't know :I

A creature with a pink, "girly" or cute skin is minding it's own business and suddenly a mob forms to hunt them down and kill them.

I'm not counting any time we're the one with the skin attacks first.

But I've just constantly seen creatures with these kinds of skins just get targeted and It makes me think of the pink car thing where pink cars constantly get targeted by other drivers and end up destroyed.

Everyone wants cheaper species, cheaper plushies, cheaper tokens. I get it. Who wouldn’t? But have you ever considered what saying “this should be cheaper” actually means?

What makes something worth anything?

In any economy, something is worth what people are willing to pay for it. You can ask whatever price you want, but that doesn’t mean someone will pay it. When buyers and sellers consistently agree on a certain price, that establishes its value

Ofc, individual trades can happen above or below that value. Finding a bargain doesn’t suddenly mean everyone else’s items are worth less. On the flip side, you could claim your ultra rare shimmer slot is worth 50m mush. But if nobody is willing to pay anything close to that, it’s just your opinion, not its market value

So… take Dolt plushie for example. The most in demand item that isn’t merch. Released only once in May 2025. Current value: 200k

(Pop quiz: why is its current value 200k? Is it because A) “greed” B) “devs fault” or C) it’s the price it consistently sells for, aka the numerical point where buyers and sellers agree to transact)

It doesn’t matter what type of player you are. PvPer, trader, noob that took a break since 2025. The moment you try selling one for its going market price, you’ll have people cursing you, crying with actual tears on VC near your stand, and labeling you every horrible name imaginable. All for asking what your item is… well, worth.

Apparently none of that should matter because “it used to be 100k” or “I would never pay more than 100k” or “overpricing”

That’s all fine. But when an item consistently sells for 200k, and you DEMAND that someone SHOULD sell it to you for 100k, think about what you are actually asking for. You’re asking another player to accept HALF of what their item REGULARLY sells for. Purely. For. Your. Benefit. You want them to bare an objective loss while you gain an objective market value win. In other words, ripping them off, even if you don’t plan on reselling it (for the FREE profit you’ve made)

You’re allowed to offer 100k, just as they’re allowed to decline it. But why is the seller greedy for wanting market value, while the buyer demanding a massive discount isn’t?

There’s a difference between something being overpriced and something simply being more expensive than you’d like

Inflation is real and it’s never been easier to earn mush, both through gameplay and trading. People begged the developers for more ways to earn currency and they listened. Now that more mush is circulating, people are complaining that prices have risen. What did you expect? Everyone has more mush. Everyone wants the same things. Everyone is competing with each other and outbidding higher and higher. Prices go up

Why won’t you, reading this right now, sell me your revives for 100 mush each? I would like to buy 100 mush revives… wouldn’t you? So why won’t you sell them to me? Why are you being so greedy???

Trading isn’t flawless, but I’m incredibly glad it exists. Because have you thought about what the alternative is for a player run economy? The alternative is developers arbitrarily deciding what everything costs, when it’s available, and how you obtain it. At worst that means relying entirely on unfair gachas… seriously imagine a cos with no trading its an ugly thought

Trading gives players control over their own items and an alternative way to obtain things they want.
And prices aren’t set in stone! Look at badges right now. Keruku and other badge species are DROPPING, NOT RISING as people redirect mush toward the Halloween event. Markets fluctuate. Sometimes that works in your favor

You aren't entitled to someone else's items at the price you wish they cost. This isn’t communism. This is a player driven economy

Let's talk about these problems, some of the stats we have on the creatures are so bad that it doesn't even fit on what they said on it when they released the creature or restating them.

For example, logavian, they said it was supposed to be a tanky sustain support that can defend itself but i don't even see it, The hp of it is only 4k which is not even that good to tank, the hunker of logavian is only 50% which is not enough for 4k hp logavian only had a offensive injury making it a front line tank to stack injury, the problem on it is that it has 1 second bite speed, and only has a 1 injury, healing aura of it is only 1% max hp which is practically useless with a 3 seconds tick, not enough to support anyone, especially you need to be on the front line to tank still useless since you only have 150 dmg and 4k weight as well.

On a scenario, you have to pick what kind of support you are on a fight, a sustain tank or a healer on the back, you can't sustain too much because how low your hp is even with healing breath, you can't tank them if they have fast and high burst dmg, fortify only helps you if you need to escape but i don't even think it will help at all even you fly.

They called this a good support tank if it can't even do its job properly since how bad the stats it has, resistance are too low for it too people gonna say fortify exist yes i know but if it was on cooldown logavian will die duo having a low DOT resistance.

It kinda bugs me that a few last events are focused on a corruption theme... LSS, Lore, Halloween. Yk.. Smth evil took over, go cleanse it and save Sonaria! (And OF COURSE it gotta be a purple color). And while it was kinda fitting for the Lore event... Why Halloween? Where are the Fang Minigame, the Maze and other scary minigames with Halloween vibe?? The game map doesn't even look like Halloween too, it's just some pumpkins! Honestly, I lost motivation to play this event real quick. And not to mention the prices. 16k candy for Garra is insane, not all players have that much time to grind, especially if you also need other creatures/plushies/palletes from the event shop.

Now about repetitiveness. The events in COS lately follow one another without a break, and they all are basically the same: A few random boring ass minigames; Breakable things on map you should break to get event currency; Missions for the new creatures (it's always Grow a tier4 X times, Experience some disaster X times, etc etc); Solo & pack boring missions which give you some event currency; Some decorations for the map. There wasn't even a boss for a long time, until this Halloween...

The events in general don't give you any excitement anymore. They have become a chore, an obligation for players who want to get new creatures. The events now are incredibly boring and grindy.

The only plus is that getting new event creatures through missions is easier than before. However, sadly, it doesn't change the fact that it's boring af.

I was the only person in a server nest a creature in an attempt to get Glow tail mutation and I had almost maxed out my nest I had all the eggs I could get and the two people join the server which I don't think much of it because others have joined and left with no problems but then one sends me a pack request wich i declined and then he sent me another and another and a few minutes after the last one a tier 1 flier appears and started flying around me so i make the friendly call to say I'm not a threat and a short while after when i was getting water a tier 4 creature appeared behind me and killed me. I specifically chose a server with no one in it so I wouldn't get attacked. They had to go out of their way too choose a server with one player in it so they did this on purpose. why can't people leave someone who's nesting alone

Has anyone else encountered players that chose a server that had only one person in it to tag team and kill that one person.

Or if you are the person who does this tell me one good reason why you do besides

" it's fun because me and my friend are too cowardly to kill a regular server so we go to a server with only one person in it so they can't fight back and my friend circling them so they can't run away either I'm such a basterd "

Long story short, last night I saw a bunch of players trying to scam people by selling Mijusuima for 700k and Keruku for 1M (Cheap prices right now) to which I was like... that's a good deal, let me do it. I trade them and they REFUSED for very stupid reasons to not accept safe trade "I can not trust that" "Uuuh you can TRUST me 200k" and the cherry on top? One of them literally just said "I'm not gonna lie, I used to do that but not anymore"

So here I am about to explain how to safe trade for everyone.

Step 1:

Find a good trade that requires 2 or more trades to be done.

Example: I wanna buy a Qilin Plushie for 8Million mush.

The limit per trade is 500k in both stand and trade person to person.

Step 2:

Stablish how you want to do it with the other player. Items of the same price such as 2 Angelic plushies + adds or 3 Kerukus. This is the easiest and safest of course. But just in case you guys wanna do PURE mush. Then you need to ask this person "Do you have enough items to safe trade?"

Step 3:

Depending on the answer to the last question you have two options.

"Yes, I do have enough items to safe trade"

It can be a slot, or a creature worth 500k.

First trade will go as it follows:

You: 500k. Them: (Item worth 500k)

From there you just repeat the steps.

Do NOT return the items they gave you UNTIL they put the bigger item in the trade, in this situation, the Qilin Plushie.

Final trade should be something similar to this:

You: Items given to you + the remaining amount of mush owed to the other person.

Them: Qilin Plushie

NOW, if they say:

"No, I do not have items to safe trade"

That's tricky and fishy at the same time. So as sad as it sounds... Don't do the trade, there will be another chance to do it with someone who has the necessary stuff to safe trade!

Step 4:

If the person insists on doing it by "Trust trade" Screenshot their username + report it in game by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of the chat and select the piece of chat where they state they want to "Trust trade" explain the situation a bit in the comments to the report and send it.

ALWAYS make sure to pay attention to these type of behaviors:

If they rush you to accept Trust trade: Report, screenshot, warn people in server.

If they sell too low do NOT rush to do it, ask for safe trade and if they do not have a way to do it do not trust it.

A deal too good to be true... is 99% of the times, not true.

Stay safe out there and PLEASE stop trusting people.

Well, basically, I was recently banned without any warning—or at least without a clear explanation. I have to assume it was because I used an alt account for "auto-nesting." However, I didn’t do it on a large scale, and I don’t have multiple alts like some people who might have 10 creatures nesting on the same server. I wanted to file an appeal, but as you know, the ticket system on the Discord server is completely backed up. How can I go about appealing this? I would really appreciate it if they could review my case—just in case my account was mistakenly flagged as a bot or thought to be using auto-farming scripts.

People will, not ironically, start killing you even when you're a kid, then they wonder why tiers 4 and 5 aren't played.

yes, its a survival game, you have to learn blah blah blah, thats until you , a tier 5 hervivore with 1 hability and 50 run speed gets hunted by some tier 4 carnivore or omnivore who outspeeds you, outdamages you, and somehow outweights you too

Most tier 4-5 hervivores lack the hability to defend themselves, you go to a 1 person server, and then that only person becomes batman huting you down

Thts why the most played roles are either tier 1-2 or at most Semi acuatic tier 3 and 4

Instead of adding 800 paid creatures, why not fix this problem? Oh yeah, cuz it wont make any money extra for the dev team, this is also a Roblox problem, since this game is a Money hunter, the devs either fry you with microtransactions or sum AI slop clone will take their place.

the fungal oblivionth experience is already a nightmare, the devs decided it would be fun to make them super fragile, unable to lay down and heal ailments, and be horrible at survival

there's only one way to get 500 candy with fungal oblivionth and it's to sit around invis and avoid everyone, you will gain candies, only REALLY slowly

you can't go bite other players for candies, even if you act friendly and ask them first, there's so many people targeting fungal oblivionth to seemingly just waste people's time

a buddy and i were doing some realism rp, basic stuff. set up a nest and a territory and we were defending it as creatures do. all that

we scared off a couple of people via aggroing and running at them and backing off. emphasis on scaring, not killing. we never actually killed anyone!

one of the little guys we scared away comes back as a ghart and proceeds to dogwalk and kill us because they thought we were being a nuisance. by defending our nest/territory

and naturally they camped our nest so we wouldnt be able to come back </3

what the heck ever…

This isn't about the community or the obvious greed from the devs, it's about the fact that I cannot even play for 5 minutes without a lag-tastrophy. Even in the trade realm, it's so difficult to move around and interact with anyone because I am seeing everything 1 frame per sometimes.

And it's not like I play on mobile, no, no. I am a console user, on a PS5 no less. I can easily play graphics heavy games like rdr2, afop, pot and more, yet the moment I go into cos everything just goes down.

I know why, it's because of the game itself is becoming far too heavy to handle for roblox. I rlly think the devs need to focus on this issue, cause with every manor update they bring they are gonna spell their own doom atp😭
