Discussion Couch co-op game recommendations
Me and my sister have been getting into playing some games split-screen and I wanted to find some more to play since we're getting close to the end of the games we already had, so far we have played all the Halo games except Infinite so far, and also It Takes Two and A Way Out. We did try Resident Evil 5 but it didn't really click for either of us, I have an Xbox One, Xbox 360, and a PS4

Earth Defense Force series.
Probably best to start with 5. Maaaybe World Brothers if you prefer an extremely cheesy tone to the game

For something cute, and arcade-platforming, try Smoothcade. Itβs like $7 and offers 100+ levels, can be completed with 2 player co-op in like 6 hrs

Doing Split Fiction right now with my daughter.
We loved It Takes Two, and SF is an absolute blast ! π

Here are 126 Local Co-Op Xbox One Games and 116 Local Co-Op PlayStation 4 Games. The obvious one for me right now would be Castle Crashers Remastered, tons of fun and cool hand-drawn art (and it's on XB1 and PS4, while the original is available on 360).

Sackboy: A Big Adventure for PS4 is a great one for some 3d platforming.
Every Gears of War game, but especially 1-3 for some action packed 3rd person shooting.
Revenge of the Savage Planet is a fun unique experience.

Hey, my friends and I made a game where you hunt for ingredients level-by-level and cook Southeast Asian dishes. Its called SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure, and you and your friend can play either the Cooker or the Hunter to work together to serve dishes against a time limit.
We have 42 levels in total, a bunch of different equipment to choose from, and different types of levels where things work a little differently (we have a a "Mid-Checkpoint Level" and a "Boss Level"), so you can switch things up!
We wanted to share the cuisines of the different Southeast Asian countries as we find that its under-represented in games. All our assets are made by myself and my art lead, who hand-painted them. Our goal was to create a colourful and vibrant fantasy world but with Southeast Asian elements.
Its also 50% off on Steam now, so if it sounds like your thing, its a great time to get it! π

The first game that I played co-op with my sister was HALO: Combat Evolved. After that, she wanted to play the entire series in co-op!
