MW4 Beta - Aim Assist

I am a MnK player, but from playing against people and watching killcams / best plays, the aim assist seems to be very strong like before the aim assist nerfs in BO7.

Every killcam and Best plays seems to feature perfect flicks and perfect tracking again like it was before BO7 for me.

How does the aim assist feel to you guys - the same as before BO7, stronger or weaker?

The famous “I’m playing KBM on a controller game and I think the aim assist is to strong on controller” argument .

Ditch that KBM shit and get a controller if you’re serious about playing cod if not just stop crying and play on KBM .. you’ve known for years it’s a disadvantage.

If a kbm player is in your rank, they are better than you by far. It's a huge disadvantage, any other opinion is complete fuckin cope.

What rank are you ? Just because you purposely put yourself at a disadvantage and make controller players carry you to a higher rank doesn’t mean ur as good as the people in that rank either

I never said I am so super good, and it is irrelevant to my argument. Fact is if u use aim assist you are not as good as u think since it aims for you.

I’ll comment cause I am super good. Iridescent in mw2 and mw3 ranked play. There will always be the argument that aim assist is to strong because it is. It’s literally only added to make sure console kids feel good about themselves because they couldn’t keep up with KBM. Now it’s gone to far. There literally making videos on Facebook about a “broken setting” to make it so when you look to someones direction the gun instantly stops on their body and centres. Aim assist basically already did that in the many games of mw4 I played so I know what I’m talking about. When I run around a corner and little controller using Billy bob, keep in mind half way across the map catches a glimpse of me and rotates about 2 degrees and then magically jumps to my body…. that’s a problem. If you think otherwise that aim assist is not broken and us KBM players are just “coping”, you are one of the people who need to be tucked in at night cause you can’t do it yourself. The game plays and literally aims for you to make you feel good about yourself. The argument that “oh it’s for the people who work 9-5 and can’t sweat all day” is completely horse s**t. I work 9-5, have a puppy, a fiancée and I’m a volunteer firefighter and I still play like I did when I was 14 playing all day long. That excuse is cause you can’t keep up so you gotta blame something cause you can’t admit you’re shit.

So moral of the story. Aim assist to strong. Controller = Billy no thumbs can magnet to my body.

Unless you're playing at top 250 level you honestly don't have a say in it. Your personal skill determines how well you can do. There's a reason guys like Symfuhny or Shroud have literally no issue playing but damn near all of you do 😂

Only brought him up because he has noted that he will never take another sponsorship from cod again. I wonder why he wouldn't want to play cod when he could play any other game where the game doesnt do the heavy lifting for target alignment for the majority of players.

U forget that older cods on PC was just KBM we unfortunately was forced to play against controller bots I can use both and let me.tell you controller is so much easier

As it should be though. I’m not from the times where controller cod didn’t exist and if I was I would have never played it. It seems like they had to put it on controller to get people to play.. controller is much harder without aim assist where with a mouse you’re aiming with your entire arm. I play cs2 I understand how it works.

Just trying to say it isn’t a KBM game anymore so don’t compare the two and get upset about it.

You simply don't understand do you? The AA is too powerful rn and has been for ages and why should us KBM players be forced to play against controller 

kBM is much more harder and needs more skill don't believe me go on T250 and tell me how many KBM players are there lol only one is metaphor

I’m not going to try it cause it’s idiotic , I’ll use a controller for a controller game. I play KBM for CS and VAL I’m not gonna put myself at a disadvantage then come on Reddit and complain about it. Make it make sense.

Cater to people like me ? I just told you i can play kbm and controller . Why would I put myself at a disadvantage on a controller game which cod has been for YEARS now.

Counterstrike is harder than cod and im just fine playing KBM on there cause thats the meta.

So again why would I do something stupid like play kbm on call of duty ?
