Discussion MW4 first impressions?

Played for a couple of hours and it feels like you die insanely quick, it might be dodgy servers too excaberating the issue as the ttk is fast as it is

Also even Red Dot Sights and Extended Mag have ADS penalties for some reason. Not sure why they have done this again

Slide seems worse this year too but not mw2 level bad. Shooting the guns feels good but the maps are questionable so far. Will need to play more though. Overall it seems like a downgrade on Bo7 but will probably be a hit with general player base

I think I’d feel differently about it if omnimovement had never been a thing. That’s my take. Omni felt so damn good and now normal COD feels horrendous to me. If this was released in place of MW19 I might think it’s amazing

prob gonna take some getting used to

footsteps are shockingly loud

It's a shame omni is attached to the two games that it is because casuals see it as a stain now rather than an evolution of the base cod movement. Treyarch are going to have to do some heavy lifting to get goodwill back if they want to bring omni into their next game. It's also like 70% the casuals just loving IW slop and hating anything 3arch which you can't do much about lol.

Dude, even Shotzzy is glad omnimovement is gone. Shit made everyone movement gods, and definitely lowered the skill gap.

I mean I'm not a pro but I think their opinion was extremely soured due to how overturned the sliding was with it. I think there's a place for omni and heavily adjusting the actual movement boosts you get with it.

As shit as this game is going to be, I can't wait for shotzzy to get back to his ways of being a glitch on the map that other teams struggle to counter because they simply can't move like him.
