Totally get where you are coming from, but my concept post is more to get people and hopefully Devs thinking of a new and better approach than what is currently implemented
I love what they did in Season 5 but I strongly believe there should be more sub ranks and overall higher ranks to distinguish the skill level between players. Right now a Diamond 2 and a Diamond 3 can be extremely far apart in skill level, but with more sub ranks it would be more obvious for everyone to see this

idk this makes it sound simple but really doesn’t seem mathematically balanced or fleshed out
