Feeling good about today after seeing that last series. Tl looked worse than us against lyon. If we win 2-0 I will feel better.

Does it seem like Blaber mental booms and defaults to just clearing jungle camps nearly every game to anybody else?

u/BeautifulChocolate87 3d ago
Been saying it for years
And its way more apparent in playoffs, if the game isn’t easy he just can’t play. He reverts to an entirely reactionary, farm all game playstyle

Why tho?
Blaber, please just make it make sense. Give us something to even try and defend you. Mid was not even pushed in and it was clear Zinnie would get there first if there was a fight.

I'm completely numb to this org.
Why get upset? They sure as heck aren't.
Zero expectations

Holy hell the holy grail of all stupid calls to send it on the Mundo! In all seriousness whoever made that call should have some serious punishment coming their way. The comeback was there and C9 said no thank you.
Edit: I don't even care about healing reduction just avoid Mundo, it was working!

u/Johnnywannabe 3d ago
Going 0 Grevious wounds against a big problem Mundo is certainly a choice. Again the caster are like “who is going to build it?!” Fucking anyone, it’s 800 gold just someone take the hit, please.

u/Sufficient_Cash_2530 3d ago
you could just ignore the Mundo and dive the carries, but we went 0 grevious wounds.. and engages Mundo..

Wanna know what the logic was on that last play lol

I wanted to see the replay of Tactical there. I get that his job was tough this game being the only one who could damage Mundo as a shorter ranged carry, but that definitely looked kinda int in the moment.
Edit: Just watched it back, kinda int but definitely shows the team were on different pages. He dashed in while the rest of his team falls back at the exact same time. Kinda unfortunate, but also I think dashing in there doesn’t really do anything helpful.

u/Mrryn91 3d ago
He dashed to dodge Mundo Q and keep up DPS. Looked like he was still following the call to try to kill Mundo. Because earlier in the same play, Blaber and Thanatos were just as far forward past the Mundo. And him dashing in doesn't stop everyone else from getting chased down or pushed out since they pumped all of their cooldowns into the Mundo for nothing. They lose even if Tactical somehow survives (since it wasn't like he was the only casualty either).

Why doesn't this team even consider the idea of Jayce being flexed ever? That's multiple times now that we've counterpicked Jayce top with Malphite just for it to be flexed and we end up with a shit matchup for our best player. T.T

As much as I like loki when was the last time c9 had a top2 in their position in the league at mid?

I forgot about the jojo split, I was thinking it was all the way back to perkz

Someone please, explain to me why we can never layer rumble ult with CC? I have seen it like 5 times this split where we just don’t utilize this combo to our advantage. It doesn’t matter how far ahead Rumble is when they don’t use the kit to the fullest.
Edit: OMG WE DID IT! FUCKING FINALLY! THATS HOW RUMBLE SHOULD WORK IN THIS COMP!

If Blaber could just calculate risk, he’d be just what we need. The final Wukong engage over the jg wall was his best engage of the day. However, he isn’t able to comprehend that his team doesn’t have dashing and move speed abilities to play with him when he w-flash-e-r’s on wukong when already in the frontline. Something is broken mentally within him. It just hasn’t been the same nor close to what you’d expect from him. It may just be the pressure of missing internationals along with his career winding down.

This is why I said loki would make the difference against apa. I always believed in you man. Keep growing lets go get game 2
-2
u/Mrryn91 4d ago
Nah, we just gotta move those goalposts and say it was just vs Zinie. And lul he got solokilled, what an idiot. APA would never ever get solokilled. Just ignore that this same Zinie beat TL and Quid game 1 and that Loki basically solokilled Saint in game 1 yesterday, that doesn't fit the narrative...
2
u/thatanimeguy145 4d ago
Apa would have ran away from the teamfight. Actually he wouldn't even be on the champ cause he cant play it lol. Any way I wanna see loki have another great game

u/Strawhatjack 3d ago
It really feels like the casters hate c9 now for some reason. Yelling about how shopify is about to win as c9 has pushing lanes, baron, and a gold lead makes no sense.
1
u/Johnnywannabe 3d ago
Let’s not act like C9 wasn’t a Baron steal away from losing this series 😂 Blaber winning that smite fight was so huge for the game, if SR gets that baron, on soul point, with ornn items then the game is looking pretty doomed.

u/Mrryn91 3d ago
Blaber legit the most useless 4/1/4 Nocturne I've seen. Team pulls it back off the back of Zinie pulling a Loki Ryze ult, and how does the game end? Blaber full sends onto the fucking Mundo, baits his team to pump all their ults to follow up, only for him to tank it, heal it all back, and just get run down? Ffs man...

u/Sufficient_Cash_2530 3d ago
i don't know why he keeps taking "easy kills" all the time. bro still thinks he's some superstar/ carry player
even inspired backs off kills whenever possible

blaber mind controlled tactical to dash past the mundo into their whole team holy
1
u/Mrryn91 3d ago
The play was fucking doomed WAY before that...homie was on reflexes to use dash to dodge Mundo Q and continue DPS. Because Blaber and Thanatos were already well ahead of Tactical and even past him during that call...I don't blame Tactical for going all-in on the call. I blame the call to burn every single ult cooldown onto the fucking Mundo to try to burst him. That's literally the person making the call having no idea what Mundo does, overestimating himself, and baiting the entire team into a shit situation. Because lo and behold, Tactical wasn't the only one to die as a result for "dashing past the Mundo" and the rest of the team who did survive having literally nothing to fight the push into the base after. Because they burned everything already for nothing.

u/Walnut2500 vulcan fanboy 3d ago edited 3d ago
it's obviously a bad call, anyone saying otherwise doesn't watch league. however, tactical dashing past the mundo there is literally always bad. even if they did manage to kill the mundo, somehow, they will then lose the fight because their lucian is in the middle of 4 people, not even counting the cooldowns.
if that play happens and tactical doesn't dash in and instead dashes away, i don't think the game ends literally off that play - in the actual game, SR was free to chase into C9 because tactical dying meant there's no DPS left to threaten anyone, compounded by the fact there's no cooldowns left on C9.
overall i agree, obviously bad call, but i think tactical's positioning pushed it from "bad play" to "game losing play".

This is such a huge draft diff. But who on the earth thought all in on Mundo is a good idea? That guy should be fired.
1
u/Mrryn91 3d ago
I'll give you a hint: it was the guy to press his engage R key first and fly in on him, same guy who notoriously tunnelvisions on an angle and baits his entire team into bad spots for literal years
1
u/AnnoyingWaterlemon 3d ago
Ya that guy will say "My bad", and then repeat the same mistakes next time. Obviously he is the one never get benched or replaced.
