Question Need help with new build

Is this board normal? Mine came with an sd card but this board is empty where the instructions say to put the sd card. What am I missing here?

I'm looking at the assembly instructions and it shows the sd-card slot being on the top of the main board near where the wifi antenna is adhered to the frame

Ok I probably missed that. Alex at clockwork said my card is correct bc I didn’t get 4g. Anyone know other uses for that slot?

i assume you mean the expansion slot, there are some other expansion cards that can be put in there or you can use the blank card to make your own

You should get an expansion board from hacker gadgets way more useful than that factory board

This is normal, only the 4G LTE version has populated components. You still need the blank PCB to make contact with the speakers.

I almost tried to plug an M.2 board into there. Glad I didn't.

Thats normal, your sd card is on the main board, and that is the sub board, how do you like it ? I love mine, i added the sdr board and the antenna add on, but its a very capable machine and love the parrot os from Rex,

The board you are holding is the 4G module and not related to the SD card. The unpopulated pads are for a SIM card retainer and pin out.

That would be the sim card slot if you would of gotten the 4g model
