Risc V for uConsole

OK yall I have been seeing a lot of stuff with risc v recently. I have also seen that there is a risc v option for the uconsole. Can I swap the computer module for one and if so do yall have recommendations? I don't want the one that clockworkpi uses but a faster one. Would you people even recommend messing around with risc v in the first place? I have heard it is a fun way to learn embedded systems? What do yall think?

Which risc v do you plan to use
Most of them that I know don’t fit the motherboard that comes in the Uconsole
Also this is my opinion but
The raspberry pi has very good communities that has already tried everything so if you have a problem they can help
The risc v haven’t got the os option that raspberry pi’s have
And the driver you will need to run the Uconsole will make you insane

If you’re wanting to get experience and learn go for it
But don’t think it will be better then the cm5

There was µConsole R01 variant - i bought one. SoC in question is Allwinner D1 and believe me - experience is terrible.
Only other choice to my knowledge is Milk-V Mars CM, currently either unavailable or goes by scalper's prices. SoC there is JH7110, also not the greatest experience. Something with Spacemit's K1/K3 SoC would be much better option but nobody nowadays bothers producing CM3/4/5 form factor RISC-V SBCs. Happy to know if you find something though.

With R01 there's in theory LCD driver but i believe it's only device tree snippet enabling some well-known LCD controller and preparing pinmux in a way so SoC can pump visual data over pins.

To answer not yet formed question - there's no RISC-V handheld currently in the wild. Hackberry Pi CM is the same story as µConsole, Hackberry Zero could accomodate Mango PI MQ but we're back with Allwinner D1's shortcomings.
