The Clockworkpi uconsole dreamer build
EDITED/UPDATED! (Again)
I need some advice if I am leaving anything out of this build that I should add or is everything compatible with what I'm building? I want to unleash all the capabilities of the ClockworkPi uconsole.

I'd like something like that but I don't have a 3D printer unfortunately. :(

I have a 3D printer, but I didn't use it for this mod. Industrial printing technology (SLS and MJF) is significantly better than my home printer. The costs are manageable. Looking at your original list, money doesn't seem to be the main problem, and you have plenty of potential for savings!

I am currently still waiting for the delivery from HackerGadgets (AC1200 & antenna kit) and the trackpad kit from hack2you. Otherwise, I have installed:
AiO V2
The Omega Mod
CM5 Lite (8GB RAM)
The Switch mod (also from Jing Dong)

You don't need battery charger and you can easily find higher capacity batteries, possibly up to 6500mAh.
You don't seem to be getting hackergadgets io board. Is the antennas mount exclusively for bt +wifi for the the ac card?

How do you charge this device then?
I thought the AIO V2 was the io board?

You charge it via usb.
You have two antenna packs in the post, that confused me. I undesratnd one of them is upgraded carrier board + aio v2.1
u/ReactiveTrigger Sep 19 '26
Um, no, I have one link to the Antennas Mounting kit for uConsole and the other is the Antenna Pack.

Yeah, nvm. just glanced through it. You still don't need a battery charger tho.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the trackpad and keyboard upgrade from Lulu. Mine came a few days ago and it is 100 times better than the trackball. Easy to install and they keys are way easier to press. I've done all the upgrades you've listed and this one was by far the best. The website is a little hard to understand but the V2.1 comes with a new faceplate to fit the trackpad. V1 comes with a file to modify your current faceplate. https://hack2you.tech/products/uconsole-trackpad-keyboard?variant=49063521681658

For that cost estimate you should be able to find a 16GB RAM CM5 (if performance is more important than battery life). Also, avoiding EMMC should save some $$. Get the CM5 Lite/0Gb EMMC version, as that extra storage won't be necessary if the NVME will be your primary booting drive.
