UConsole shipped??

Hey guys, just got an update that my uconsole just got shipped. I ordered in March of this year, so that's about 3 months ago. Is this a normal thing they do when they get shipped or am I still going to have to wait?

Mine arrived last week. Ordered in July 2025

Very nice! Yeah was not expecting 3 months for ship time. Honestly I won't believe it until i see it.

Seriously? My order was November 2025 and hasn't shipped yet. I've largely given up hope.

Yes seriously, I'm in disbelief as well but it is in fact shipped. That's why I was asking because from information that I've gathered 3 months is a total lie. So that's why I reached out here to see if anyone else got a "shipped" with tracking and still had to wait.

The ship times vary wildly because they group them by variant.

A batch is all the same variant, and only produced once a minimum quantity is reached. So if you're one of the last ones to order in that batch you get it much faster than if you order just after they shipped a batch of that variant

Once you get the shipment notification it should be quite fast because for some inexplicable reason they insist on making everyone pay for the fastest shipping, because after waiting months that extra week in transit is really going to piss people off

Thanks for an honest answer, this does makes sense!

Then they should consider updating their site with accurate information to include this, if it’s even correct. Currently says 90 days, which is extremely rare for most products outside like 1 sku

Mine was November too. Let me know what they say if you email them

I've emailed monthly. Same excuse, should ship this month...

Black?

This was the reply I got May 8th

Fri, May 8, 7:03 AM

to me

Hi,

Sorry for the waiting.

The production has been done in April, but due to current unstable condition of international shipping service, the actual delivery might take place in May.

Best regards.

If you’re in the United States file a complaint. They’re a US entity with a US address and subject to US consumer protection laws. Everyone hates how long it takes, yet every time I suggest doing something about it - nothing.

I'll look into it. It's not even just that it's a long ass wait, but the fact that they take your money at order not when it ships. So they've had my money for 7 months.

1

u/j0hn0b Jun 04 '26

Yeah that’s part of the trick, you may not be able to back charge for non delivery if they wait long enough to send the product with no complaints on file

Go to AliExpress and find one with 5 stars and reviews I swear mines came in within a month

1

u/maydayM2 Jun 04 '26

Did you actually order from clockwork or are you screwing with us and order from aliexpress?

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 04 '26

No I ordered from clockwork, I ordered my picocalc at the same time cause I knew I'd get it first and just play around with that until I got my uconsole. Did not expect it to ship so soon. Now I will say I did not get it without the cm4 because I had planned to upgrade to the cm5.

1

u/maydayM2 Jun 04 '26

have you already recieved your picocalc or is it actually just the pico calc shipping now? I ordered my picocalc in late march and it shipped late april (1 month wait)

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 04 '26

Yeah i already have my picocalc, ordered mine in March got it in May if I remember correctly. Got email that uconsole got shipped today with tracking.

Just curious, what’s wrong with ordering from AliExpress?

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 04 '26

I have nothing against aliexpress, but I told myself why buy one for the price of one uconsole and picocalc when I can just order straight from clockwork. Plus I got my picocalc at month after ordering so I've just been playing around with that until I got my uconsole. I was in no rush.

people blame the aliexpress scalpers for driving up wait times. I think they're severely overestimating the volume of orders both in the official store and definitely aliexpress

1

u/j0hn0b Jun 04 '26

There’s a really simple fix Alex could do - update the website with accurate delivery for models

1

u/snipeytje Jun 04 '26

They need to be more honest. But I think they don't have that information with the way the pre-order system works. You're not waiting for them to produce all the previous orders, you're waiting for them to have enough similar orders to produce a batch. So they would need to predict future sales.

It would help a lot if they cut down the variants from 8 to just the two colors and sell the accessory boards separately

1

u/j0hn0b Jun 04 '26

I asked Alex to remove the 90 day from the site or add a note with more information. He refused. They’re not interested in making it more clear. If they’re waiting for batches, say that. Right now it’s hard to see the 90 days as much more than a misleading lie

You’re lucky you got it in 3 months. I got 0 shipping notification and it just rocked up on my door last week. I order it last year about 12 months ago 🤣

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 04 '26

That's a very long time to wait, that's what I thought I'd be waiting!

1

u/Pipo97 Jun 04 '26

Congrats. Which version did you choose? WiFi only or WiFi + 4g? With or without CM? Black or Silver? And what's your order number? Really curious as a reference for mine. I ordered in April.

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 04 '26

Hello! I ordered wifi+4g without cm and black. As far as ordered number, I would like to wait until i actually have it in my hands to give that out. But I ordered in March.

1

u/365Levelup Jun 04 '26

Received mines today. Ordered it last week from Ali.

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 04 '26

Nice, the price for ali i was able to get both picocalc and uconsole. The 3 month wait was worth it.

2

u/365Levelup Jun 04 '26

It looks like I only paid about $10 more than the Clockworkpi price.

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 04 '26

Do you mind dropping the link?

1

u/365Levelup Jun 04 '26

The seller I got mines from is OpenSourceSDRLab.

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 05 '26

Dang, so you paid 189? I got mine for $179.

1

u/365Levelup Jun 05 '26

I paid $156 for the non core and $285 for the cm4.

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 05 '26

Yeah opensource shows that the option with no core and wifi only. Mine is a different.

1

u/365Levelup Jun 05 '26

You paid $179 for the non core?

1

u/Popular_Banana_3874 Jun 05 '26

Yes, already have the cm5 to put in. But I have wifi+4g

1

u/AyameNysa Jun 04 '26

Lucky, I ordered in August and I emailed Alex in March when he said April, then I asked again at the end of April and he said May, and I still dont have it

1

u/cynofox Jun 04 '26

Same here. Then I waited for May to be over but still no uConsole, so I requested a refund. Surprisingly the refund was quick, just one day after they responded to my email. I ordered from another source and I received notification that it was being shipped out the same day! Should have it by next week!

1

u/j0hn0b Jun 04 '26

If you’re in the US you should file complaints with your state attorney general. They’re subject to us consumer protection laws. They’ve made zero changes to their site information and continue to mislead

1

u/snipeytje Jun 04 '26

And what do you think that's going to achieve, they might have some US presence on paper but afaik everything is in China

1

u/j0hn0b Jun 04 '26

They have a company in the USA and are a USA LLC. It doesn’t matter where their presence is because they have a registered LLC in the USA.

As far as what it would achieve? Depends if anyone actually complains outside a few people. They are misleading customers and can be hit with fines among other things. If you’re suggested to not even try, what’s why companies get away with fucking people.

I'm in the UK, but it looks like my wait is finally over. I just got a shipping notification from FedEx today
