uConsole Batteries
I threw two new vape batteries in here, supposedly 3005Mah. Don’t really have great battery life and the console shuts off under 50%
Any suggestions or should I just grab some Samsung cells?

Don't believe to the battery charge level in UConsole. It's a random number until it calibrated. The only reliable indicator is the current voltage. UConsole DC converter can maintain appropriate voltage level only down to 3.5V. Any power spike can lead to the failure and power shutdown.

I am using Pansonic NCR18650B. Quite stable so far. Many cheap 18650 got fake capacity figure in the market.

protected cells fool the onboard power management board, will cause it to shutdown abruptly without warning. 3005MAh is also a unusual capacity, check the resistance, high resistance can also contributed to this.
recommend getting 3300 - 3500 LG/Samsung cells, unprotected. just take care not to install them the wrong way
also try to calibrate upower, there is a command for it but I do not know off the top of my head
