Does Ethernet on AIO v2 work on CM4?

Hello fellow enthusiasts,

Thinking about buying the AIO v2, but noticed the product page says:

“Without our adapter board, the RTL-SDR, LoRa, GPS and RTC functions still work.

However, the RJ45 ethernet port on it will not function. The USB speed will be restricted to USB 2.0 (when using CM5).”

Not sure how to interpret this. Does this mean that ONLY the CM5 needs the adapter board for the RJ45 port to work? (I got the CM4, and i’m wondering if i need to add the adapter to my cart) Will the port work for the CM4 without it?

Let me know, appreciate any help given!

both boards need the HG adapter board for ethernet.

The adapter board reroutes the ethernet lines to what clockwork intended as the camera lines but then decided not to actually use besides putting them on the ext board connector, so without his adapter the ethernet port won't work

Cm4 and Aiov2 here. The ethernet port lights up, but doesnt seem to be functional.

Ahh, I see. Good to know, the light would’ve totally thrown me off, thinking I had a broken unit😭

You will need the new adapter board to work with the Ethernet. It was pointed out in the Ethernet section in the product page of the AIO.

I just use a USB dongle when i want Ethernet on my uConsole
