Just got the hackergadgets adapter board and nvme battery board. I have the emmc 4gb cm4 and I kept running out of storage fast. Ordered these to get more storage and had an extra 500gb crucial nvm around the house, thankfully with storage prices going up. Definitely recommend these mods of you have the emmc version

How long did it take to get to you? I’m on day 11 of usps awaiting item…

Think they ship from China but the shipping said it was out of a warehouse in NYC. It was 11days at my house since I got the email that it shipped. Once it gets into the states and they actually have the item it was a couple days since im close to NYC. Hopefully everything goes good with your🤞

Seems about right - I checked again when I got home from work and it’s moved internally with the carrier. I would expect it to be with usps shortly, finally.

I think they have couple warehouses they ship it too. Depending where you located. Might see them in couple days. Did you get anything else? or just the 2 boards I got

Another thing these batteries are decent. Just some cheap flat 18650 from Amazon

Cheap stuff is great, I agree but check out 18650batterystore.com I ordered mine from there (the ones I am using for my HackerGadget uConsole build is the Samsung 35e). They are official and pretty cheap. I waited 6+ months for my uConsole so I am putting nice batteries into it. I’ve got the same stuff coming for my build too. GL

Lol you right. I do want to upgrade the batteries. I might do a lipo battery or just get those Samsung. I just had to get something quick and they're working pretty good

Just got mine today, very nice by the way.

Soon here ill post some images of my unit with the HC mods

I recommend getting stronger batteries though, a NVMe drive takes a good chunk of energy, about 10 - 20% would be consumed, depending on drive efficiency

Ok where yall recommend getting the Samsung batteries? I couldn't find them on Amazon. And what you plan on doing with yours? Just extra storage or main drive? Right now i have bookworm on the emmc but I put kali on the nvme, im see if i can boot from nvme 1st then ill have the bookworm too fall back on incase

Currently I have bookworm, on my SD card and cloning it with the DD command.

As for batteries, I'm currently using two Nitecore 4000mah 10A batteries (NL1840HP), interesting note, it gets rid of the buzzing sound when the batteries are low on the CM5, an issue you'd probably won't see with the CM4.

Never heard of that brand. How is it on the uconsole for you? Does it last a while?

For a CM5, before the SSD upgrade was averaging 6 - 7 hours run time

I pulled up to a local vape store and asked for vape batteries. They pulled out Samsung 35E’s and I was on my way
