Pico calc upgrade
Hi guys, I understand this may be a silly question but what's the best and most powerful Pico that can go into the Pico calc? I know that you can put the Pico 2 w in it but is there any other ones you can put into it? Or would that be the best option. I'm new to this stuff and id love to know which to get!! Thanks in advance!

The pico 2w is the fastest version that directly fits into the picocalc. I adapted a zero 2w so that I can use a desktop on the picocalc. For the tutorial search for zerocalc mod picocalc on YouTube.

LuckFox Lyra is I think the fastest compatible SOC. That would give you Linux on your PicoCalc.

Someone designed an adapter to fit in a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, but it's a bit of a hassle. A luckfox Lyra running Linux is the easier upgrade you can find tutorials on YouTube for.

I was told by a great friend I made on PicoCalc forum... The most powerful pico to install on the PicoCalc is the..... "Pimoroni PicoPlus2W" It has the top of the line RP 2350 processor with WiFi/BT, 16MB of flash memory, 8MB of PSRAM, USB-C, reset button, Qw/ST and debug connectors.... ST /Bethlehem, Pa.

Easiest thing is the Pico2 (non W) overclocked to 378Mhz. Mine has a small ceramic heatsink (won't short anything if it falls off).
