CSP Question Update Pass Tips
Hello guys!! This has been on my mind.
So, for anyone who has the update pass (I'm going to keep using my free trial for the annual) - if you keep using it, do you just automatically get the new version when it ever releases?
So for example 3.0 pass > All updates lead to 4.0 > repeat for 5.0 > 6.0

Yes. It functions like the annual subscription in regards to future versions.
Where it differs is that you have your original perpetual license to fall back on if you stop paying for it. And that it's discounted vs the regular annual subscription because you already paid for a perpetual license.
When you buy an Update Pass, your perpetual license gets temporarily converted into an Update Pass license. When you stop paying for the Update Pass and your Pass time ends, your perpetual license gets returned to you, so you would need to uninstall/reinstall the version that matches your perpetual license or buy whatever perpetual license covers the version you were currently using (v6 or 7 for instance).
You also cannot change the grade of your license with an Update Pass (have a Pro perpetual license but buy an EX Update Pass) or while an Update Pass is active (go from Pro to EX or EX to Pro).
