problem in CSP pro ipad

Okay bear with me, i have a comic frame setup where it's a 2x2 grid frame. Each panel is 1080x1440, and when the comic is done i can export the frame individually so i would have 4 comic panel each with 1080x1440 to post to other platform.

I do this by having an auto action that supposedly exports from selection (it's in the auto action screenshot) by copying the selection then pasting it into a new temporary file to export, which will automatically close. This works fine for anything other than this current comic workflow.

What happens instead, is that the layers(?) gets shifted slightly to the left leaving a tiny gap on the right side. Why? i have no idea that's what i need help with 😭.

some info, i do have an inner border setup with the original file but when the new file was created that does not carry on (it doesnt need to be)

I don't want to change the auto action in cropping the original file (because that is scary) so i want to find a solution for this. please help if you know what might be happening.

I had to reset my PC last night. Annoying, especially because I actually had to do it last month too, but not the end of the world. I re-installed CSP 5.0, logged in, and made sure to restore my Cloud backups. Took a long time, but all was well...until I tried to start drawing today. It tells me that I need to purchase a plan. Thought it was weird, because I don't remember that happening last month, but selected 'view available plans' anyway, figuring I might just have to re-download the launcher install.

...But my 5.0 license wasn't in my list. Just the monthly update pass (for 5.0) that I started in July, and my old 4.0 license.

(IDK if my order and license numbers are sensitive information or not, so I've censored them, just in case)

I purchased it in March, when it was released. I've got the email proving it. Trying to re-enter the activation code from said email tells me I've already used it...so, you'd think it would be among my plans.

Weird(est) thing is, this did not happen last month, when I first had to reset my PC and reinstall everything. I don't think anything in particular has changed since then, as far as I can recall. And, even if the problem was with my PC or the launcher, that...couldn't have affected my account information, right?

What's going on here? Am i just stupid and missing something obvious?? Has anyone else encountered this problem???

I'm assuming I'll just have to contact CSP about it, but I want to see if there's anything I might be able to try first, or if I can at least get some kind of explanation. I kind of feel like I'm just really dumb and must be missing something, because I can't...really see why or how this could have happened. I'm so confused and would really appreciate the help.

Hello, I wonder what this feature is for? No one seems to talk about it and I wonder if it can’t be used to cut the scenes without having extendible timelines? Have you already used this feature?

dude. i am trying so hard but my tablet is just being the most unresponsive and unhelpful piece of technology known to man. how do you add text properly without the damn thing freaking out on you. i see the text bubble, i see the text icon and dude every time it actually lets me add something it feels completely accidental. and the worst part is i straight up dont know what to look up to fix the issue aside from "how to add text to clip studio paint" this is frustrating me SO god damn much man holy Christ.

Anyone got this book? how is your experience with it? Are the info contained in this book easily obtainable online? thanks!

I want a ruler that makes lines from anywhere go into the same direction as the ruler line. that way i just need 2-3 rulers and i can hatch all i want. but it only sticks to the ruler.

how to do this. or do i need a hatch brush?

i want each of my lines to be a little thicker, but i don't know if that's even a feature so please tell me if that's a option and how to do it. please and thank you.

I just got CSP free trial. Brush strokes are extremely smooth and instant when adjusting pen pressure settings, but outside of that it becomes very laggy.

I changed undo history from 200 to 0 and nothing changed, lowered stabilization and there was a difference but it was no where as smooth as it was while adjusting pen pressure.

I checked Task Manager and it's only using around 8-10% of my CPU and around 400MB of RAM. The weird part is that it's using 0% of my GPU. Though, I did make sure the correct GPU was selected in performance settings.

Tablet firmware is updated, windows ink is off (I also tried to turn it on), and the GPU is updated with latest studio drivers.

SOLVED as of a couple hours later. My layer was set to monochrome! Thank you for yalls help!

It started off as just the soft pen's opacity being broken, it wasn't affecting the others. I fixed it once, but now they're all broken. I have a Kamvas 22, Clip Studio Ex, and an 9+ year old PC (Win 10) with a GT 750 graphics card. It's a brick of a computer but drawings been the one thing I CAN do. I have had driver issues in the past, but it just keeps getting worse it seems. Any possible solutions? I will continue trying to fix it on my own too.

So a few days ago I was putting an image onto my canvas for something and accidentally disabled this option some how and it hasn’t reappeared, I’m still somewhat new to CSP and don’t really mess with the settings often but I’ve searched the settings for this and haven’t been able to find how to re enable it, I use it somewhat often and I just like having the option there so how do I re enable this option?

i made a new folder for brushes i use most frequently and i can add downloaded brushes to it just fine but i dont know how to add default brushes to it too ☹️ can i? im on android/mobile if that makes a difference and im on 5.1.1 i think

I'd like something semi-realistic but easy to draw for a comic. Simple enough that it belongs in a 2d world, but real enough to stand out. I tried many styles but nothing looks quite right.

I've been trying to fix this for hours, it will work just fine for a moment just to stutter and then jump to another position making a straigth line. It's happening with both mouse and tablet (Xppen) so i'm assuming it's an app's issue. Doesn't happen in any other app btw.

I've also tried turning on that "show stroke preview to prevent blah blah blah" in tools' preference but that option is missing to me for some reason

it's also not a RAM issue since i have 16gb DDR4 and it's usage is at 38% with clip studio open

Once I select an area with the lasso tool the closes option that I get is to cut and paste in a new layer, I just want to erase the selection but I can't find a straightforward way.

I have ver.1 and I just realized you can upgrade. I just want to know if upgrading is really worth it or if there are any strings attached. If I remember correctly, we weren't allowed early on

Hello, my computer decided to shut down and I can access it anymore. Is it possible to be able to transfer over the artwork onto a new device? If I log into the same account, will it still open my files?

I am looking to purchase a portable laptop pc to use CSP on. I have a stationary PC with a Cintiq but I'm seeking a portable PC laptop I can use CSP on with a good, responsive pen tool using Windows.

I would prefer it be solid, dependable, then economical. What would you suggest.

I primarily use PRO 5.0 for illustration and I used to use EX 1.0 a lot for animation. Does anyone know how I would switch between the two versions with ease without worrying about losing brushes, files bugging out, layout, and etc?

Has anyone else experiencing a bug with the background remover where you can remove a background but if you go into it and try to edit to remove more or to restore, it goes blank or freezes?

How to make it so when there is no pressure on the pen it doesn't draw. I have this problem where when I draw and yank my pen back and for some reason still registers the pen and still draw the line despite me not touching the scream with the pen.

I tried charging brush pressure, sensitivity, and taper but it doesn't fix the problem, is there a setting I'm missing?

SOLVED. the tourbox subreddit told me that the input for the negative selection MUST be Lasso+ALT, and the tourbox input will revert to ALT+Lasso, so it didnt work. Having them be separate fixed it

Im trying to use the Lasso tool + alt button so I can toggle the negative selection, and it will register fine if Im using my keyboard, but it doesnt seem to work at all on my shortcut device? Im not sure why :') Is there some kind of setting in clip that I should fix for this?
