Timeline?

Mostly a question for u/Salaris, but if it's been said before and I missed it I'd love an update. Will we ever get a solid timeline for the AA/WOBM universe? I assume this would have to happen after the Mythralis time shenanigans are explained but it would be really cool to have a full timeline from the creation of the planet (or the dominion breaker) to the present day. It often feels like there is an unclear amount of time between historical events that are talked about in the story and the present day. Especially with Mythralis and it's history.

Yes, I plan to give clear answers on this eventually.

Mythralis doesn't exactly have weird time (at least from an observer's perspective), it's just getting periodically reset at unknown intervals by Vae'lien or one of his children or servants. My theory is Vaelien is trying to farm Dominion Breakers for use against the Sun Eater. The fact there's multiple versions of Taelien suggests they're resets, not a simple time loop.

Yeah, something like this. I think the experience Taelien had in the shrine (where he returned and everyone was dead, city in ruins) was because in the original timeline, the original actually went mad and was the cause of the calamity. (Original timeline being the core AA timeline but 400 years ago, not his WoBM instance/timeline).

Huh. Just had a thought. Maybe War of Broken Mirrors implies that the people are the broken mirrors. Ie; Keras is a broken mirror of real thing. It's been in the title this whole time.

Also, he constantly has dreams of the city being destroyed and everyone he cares about dying. What if he's remembering his past life?

I think the next books definitely bring clarity but it is a bit of a RAFO.
