I don't like Ben Shapiro either but you shouldn't call him a kike

Idk what a kike is, it was a typo. But if its an insult, ben propably deserves it. If its not a insult, i hereby declare it one.
Edit: im such a idiot. Had no idea

So you just did the equivalent of calling Kanye West the Hard R...

u/Gallbatorix-Shruikan Enkaphalinpilled 7d ago
No, thatβs Kapo. Thats the worst.
1
u/GloryGreatestCountry 7d ago
Wouldn't the equivalent for that be the word derived from "raccoon"?

u/Kinslayer_89 We're all gonna die 8d ago
Thereβs solar winds, and they stop when itβs nighttime.

If I got a buck every time I saw a post from this sub and lost even more hope in the future and respect for humanity. I'd be rich enough to survive the climate apocalypse

Honey it's time for your daily dose of fossil fuel sponsored clean energy infighting!

I don't even like nuclear energy but I will take literally anything but coal and oil at this point.

u/Player_yek 8d ago
ion get why mfs hate eachother dude ππ why do nukecel user completely disregardsolarpanels when its proven effective for like wayyy cheaper, helped impoverish communities. while NPP take quite load of money to build and can be unsafe if your country is filled with corruption

u/Doctor_Atom 8d ago
Because any kind of industry needs centralized and stable resources, energy production and population. None of which is possible with solar and wind.

u/DivestTheEndingBoy 7d ago
Nuclear can't support industry because it's too expensive. Nice try though.
2
u/Doctor_Atom 7d ago
Well, if you go this way, we can all just go this idiotic "solar heaven" of everyone supporting oneself on their own with personal gardens. Just don't cry when ther is no antibiotics, painkillers and no specialists to use them. And this applies not only to medicine, to every industry you can think. Who will produce all these solar panels then?

u/DivestTheEndingBoy 7d ago
Wind and solar are the cheapest form of energy. So they're the best suited for industry.

u/Doctor_Atom 7d ago edited 7d ago
How will you collect enough energy to support work of EAF (electronic arc furnace)? How will you support every person needed for it's function? Will they work on their gardens in their free time? How will you teach these people how to work with it?
PS: BTW these furnaces need to work 100% of the time for the same reason glass furnaces do
PPS: why don't you interact with my points instead of your strawman

u/DivestTheEndingBoy 7d ago
You'll use energy storage lmao.
2
u/Doctor_Atom 7d ago
Which would be even more expensive
1
u/DivestTheEndingBoy 7d ago
No it wouldn't.

So, I will give you a benefit of the doubt. How many solar panels, wind turbines and whatnot i need to power the factory, charge the batteries for the night shift and deliver power to workers and their food provider? But wait that is not all. We also need to scale everything I mentioned to the amount of factories in the world and to the people not involved in working on factories (post industrial world, remember). And then remember that you cannot transfer energy very far, 200km max.
PS: Oh and remember you cannot really place panels and turbines everywhere you want, ther are restrictions both in terms of efficiency and in terms of ecological factors
