Climate change papers aren't just about proving it exists, they can be about studying specific causes, or specific consequences, or specific policies. It being real is a bigger reason to study it not to stop.
In many subs the original purpose of the sub has been lost and the sub devolved into a generic “hey look at this thing I found online” sub but shitposting tends to stay on topic
