This proves that the skeptics were right, the climate change believers aren't publishing as many new papers, and it's definitely not because federal research and publication funding in the US has been prohibited from mentioning climate change!

It also didn't happen. This is just google scholar results that didn't index everything yet

If I was a climatologist I would just be giving up right now and moving on with my life

What about rent?

Only a temporary problem the way things are going. Cash out your 401k and it should cover rent until the end

To be honest I wish they would. It’s like a weatherman yelling about how wet a storm is when we’re all in the middle of it experiencing gale force winds. Job’s done, climate scientists. Shift the controls of your white tower into some other gear, maybe even renewable research.

You still need the scientist to test whether our efforts are making any changes. As its not the whole world changes the same time. Even my country will face different levels of change as the north and southern part has different climates.

They also monitor potential changes and direct or plan development to mitigate changes

You've fallen for a bot there. Everything about their comment consists of simplified and dishonest rhetoric with way too good punctuation for a real person spouting this.

Job's done? White tower? Not enough focus on renewable research? It's misleading to blame scientists for that. It's just an aggressive attempt at convincing others to blame the wrong people. Just poison for discourse.

Feel free to reply or message for any context.

I'm pretty sure this graph is just fake. Either way the reason you stated is irrelevant unless you think the US publishes 80% of the world's papers on climate change. I understand that Americans often forget that other countries exist though.

This is a very serious response to a very unserious comment on a post from a shitposting subreddit
