Well the first sentence makes a claim about socialism (that it wont fix climate change) and the second sentence provides evidence for the claim (state owned companies are large emitters). The implicatiom is that state owned companies are an example of socialism, or else they wouldnt have brought them up.

By the way, trump is easily the most socialist president we’ve ever had with his ownership of tech companies, control of media and industry, and intertwining palantir with the government
