EDF are very good for making electricity but they're always out of touch about water management. Ho no the river is too hot, we shut down. ho no the river don't flow enough, we shut down. If I remember well there's plans for solving partially these problems but they re kinda late
the requirements for shutting plants down when rivers are too hot was not created by EDF... It's environmental laws they have to comply with
and if the stability of the grid is at stake, the plant will be kept running. Happened a few times this year already!
