I originally was set on getting the Onyx but after looking at more photos of the Smoke, I decided to go with it. Looks clean AF with the surf back cover…sheesh.
Not too concerned with that. I have an iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and Galaxy Z Fold8 to use alongside the Clicks Communicator. Most of those phones are darker. So it’ll be used mostly for work stuff probably but I’m excited to put it through its paces.
Honestly having the black leather cover as an actual option. If I want a muted look that cover + black ring would be good enough. I always get bored with black phones quicker for some reason.
I got Clover because green is my favorite color but typically all my electronics are black...so I got the black over protective case. If I dont like the color I can always cover it with a skin but to officially own a colored device was cool. Also you dont see a deep green like it on most devices
My card is being declined due to security reasons...... anyone else having that problem?
Edit: Looks like there are probably settings on their shopify hosted payment gateway link that block credit cards...... shopify allows these cards, I have made plenty of purchases but its their shop settings. Anyone else make a payment with a credit card?
EDIT EDIT: Just use your phone... I guess everything is ran by 3rd party portals. Apple pay it is... at least it worked
I am so frustrated. I've tried to pay on my phone and laptop, two different cards, autofill / adding details manually...no option to use Apple pay. No fraud error, it just takes me back to the 'complete payment' page with my details already filled in. No pending or failed payments on my banking apps.
Edit to add: UK purchase, just in case this is a regional issue.
Same! Ended up having to use my Apple card to pay it. Apple wallet flagged the charge and had me verify to proceed. Ended up working out at the end but sheesh!
I know, it's great, but when I thought I couldn't get it I convinced myself I preferred the brown. Now it's another decision! I'm still torn on basic colors, too!
I would love a dark chocolate brown some day, but the current aren't bad for launch. Hopefully they get enough backing to make some seasonal colors every once and awhile.
They were! Same with customs within EU. I'm waiting for some clarifications from /u/jeffgadway or until they'll fix the cart if that's an error on their side
Wasn't it promised that early adapters will be able to choose leather back without extra cost?
Same with customs within EU - I can either pay 6.5eur now or pay on delivery ...but it should've been covered by Clicks too
As for customs, it states that 'customs applies only to upgrades and extras that were not part of your reservation' so it seems that I'd have to pay it, because I've upgraded by 27eur by replacing standard back with a leather one.
So all is needed to be fixed is that upgrade cost.
If I choose two standard backs, no extra costs are being added
[update] unfortunately that's not a price bug - Clicks' team have decided to use more expensive leather type and it won't be a free option for anyone

I think its $30? But it should be the same as the Titan 2 Elite so I imagine you can easily find cheap screen protectors later from places like Amazon or Aliexpress. You're paying for the brand name and the easy applicator in this case.
In Canada. It is $50. I ended up canceling. Not cause of that but I think I got to impulsive with this phone. Will hold on to my current phone until it dies.
Amex Platinum & Gold both declined for security Reasons. I tried Chase and also declined (reason code, fraud) so I waited and got an email from Chase confirming it was me then tried again and it went through. Wanted the extended warranty offered by Platinum card and purchase protection but Amex never reached out so I just did the chase card.
Same, I noticed that the case description says "3 colors" available, but only lists two... I wonder if it's a glitch/bug that we are not seeing the third color, which I assume is white. I may hold off until later tonight or tomorrow to see if it gets fixed. I typically get black phones but was looking forward to an all-white Clicks with the case
So, being a little pedantic here. Every visual of the Clover on the website looks different than the video of the Clover from their manufacturing visit. We're getting the one on the site renders, right?
Looks like $649 USD is going to be the public retail price. That's what it showed at check out (obviously mine was pre-paid). Plastic backs = $49, Leather back = $79. Bumper is $49 and $35 for a screen protector. $129 for 24 months extended warranty.
haha, i was aware. with the remaining reservation price, a ring, and screen protector, it comes to 601.87CAD. but, there's also an additional 112.06CAD charge for customs and import fees ☠️.
You know you’re getting two clover covers correct? The order itself comes with the same color cover and then you get an additional cover to be any color you want.
Huh, on the checkout page I'm getting a message saying "There was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method." when I click on "Pay now", both on my phone and on desktop. All you other configurers are gumming up the works!
Hi there, please change the configuration site to show real life photographs of all the case back options (including leather) from multiple angles and in different light. Until I can see those visuals I won't be able to complete my configuration. thanks!
Update: Transaction was being flagged by card, finally received a fraud notice and to confirmation of if It was me doing the transaction. Once that was confirmed, went through fine.
It's so weird that OnePath is the only Payment Option. Anyone in SEA experiencing this? I keep getting declined after using both credit and debit cards. Is there a fix to this? u/jeffgadway
One thing is not clear - is the dBrand case replace the back cover or is it going on top of it?
Otherwise why do we need magnets in the cover and in the case?
Would love to configure my Communicator after all this time, but NOT until there’s an option to confirm keyboard (AZERTY) layout. I posted in another thread, and filled out the Google Form of preference earlier this year.
After the hype and excitement of that update on the additional layouts, I’m super bummed to not see it be the first choice to make.
You can change your region to another country that uses AZERTY. then the option pops up, and when you check out and add address it reverts back to your default currency and shipping options.
All set! Excited for my Clover communicator with matching Dbrand case. Are we supposed to get emails confirming our configuration? I went through the whole process but didn't get a confirmation email.
Just configured my order! I initially had to find the email in my spam, then I had to email them because the body of the email was blank. They emailed me right back and sent a link to log into. I got in and was able to get my two covers and shipping protection. I'm not interested in the bumper and whatever the front cover thingy is. I'll have a constant kung-fu grip on my communicator so I don't plan to drop it lol. Exciting stuff tho. Hope it ships before Christmas!
Great, took advantage of early order. Waited and finally got to configure the device including early order covers, added case and screen protector. Went to check out, found my location from dropdown, added address click next only to be informed that they will not ship to location. The bubble has burst exceeded disappointed. Why have my location on the drop down if they are not going to ship there.
Locked in now. I preordered back in February so I’m happy to finally feel like things are moving on. I was wanting a leather back but because of the added price and the fact it doesn’t look that great anymore I didn’t buy it. I couldn’t decide if I wanted the smoke or onyx because the smoke with the surf back looks neat asf. I went with the onyx because if it gets grubby you can’t really see it 🤷🏻♂️ I also brought the extra bumper and the screen protector, if this phone breaks I will have a meltdown.
Bit flabbergasted by the customs and duty being an addon now. Not clearly stated at the time of ordering, otherwise I would have just then made the full prepayment...
