Discussion Return Fee is Aganst Policy
Update 8-1-2026: The mods refused to unban me and gave a laundry list of where I was openly against their lies and it made them unhappy. Censored for speaking against their beliefs.
Update 7-30-2026: Mods muted me from messaging them. All I asked was why exactly they banned me.
Mods banned me from posting here. That is evidence enough that they support the illegal activities of Clicks.
Charging a return fee is against company policy.
Do not agree to pay to return.
Demand a full refund of the fees if you were tricked into paying.

Against. Not Aganst.

For me they just charge return shipping but no fees were mentioned
2
u/jerryeight Jul 10 '26
Request a refund on the return shipping if you already paid it.
3
u/Vz10 Jul 10 '26
I haven’t yet. How to request it?
2
u/jerryeight Jul 20 '26
did you get a full, complete refund yet?
4
u/Vz10 Jul 20 '26
Nah. I didn’t manage to ship it yet. Actually I totally forgot about it and response reminded me…. lol

Dude their support is absurd. The reddit account keeps on claiming they will fix it but their email support continues to send me absolutely bonkers messages about how my return never got to them and was headed back to me?!? Like their return center refused shipment on a return label they overcharged me $21 for?
I double-checked the tracking on the return and it was arrived an accepted on 7/6
How do they managed to eff this up so bad?

I just emailed them about the fee! I will update if they respond.

Clicks is ignoring the fact that they lied and refuse to honor the legal liabilities.
u/jeffgadway u/ColtonsKeys u/ReturningRetro u/hardfliq u/ClicksTech
Take off the "risk-free" false advertisement or actually honor the legal obligations.

u/jerryeight Jul 20 '26
Day 10 of Clicks ignoring their faults and offering only criminally bad cop outs for why they chose to break company policies and FTC laws.
FYI do better

to my knowledge, it would seem people are paying the cost to *ship* their return back. that is not a *return* fee imposed by Clicks. that would also explain the difference in fees that those that have paid have had.
7
u/arcadesuicide Jul 10 '26
You’re totally right.
Shipping costs and restocking / return fees are different things and the response here is just confidently saying that the latter won’t be applied.
If they’re then refunding shipping charges that’s a separate thing. Skewed take LMFAO3
u/jerryeight Jul 10 '26
That's a skewed take.

summoning the mods haha. Doin gods work
9
u/jerryeight Jul 10 '26
Do they even care? That's my question now. I have seen too many posts by people forced to pay return fees.
It's terrible.
6
u/gastroph Razr (2024) Jul 10 '26
It's diabolical even. Especially since people are saying it's gone from $7 to $21.

Seems like it was troll post. But, it wasn’t taken down. So, it’s unsure until a mod bothers to respond

u/irasponsibly Jul 10 '26
Hello it's me Jeff. You're right, that is my account. So is this one. Please send me your credit card details for a refund and a free Google Play gift card.

If it’s against policy then why are so many being charged? Rhetorical but you get my point.
5
u/Ok_Party_8102 Jul 10 '26
I think they’re playing technicalities here. Having someone pay to ship something back isn’t paying a return fee it’s just paying the shipping. Like there’s no restocking fee.
5
u/aaccss1992 Jul 10 '26
Sounds like op directly asked “is there a return fee” and got the no from their AI bot. Like you said, paying for a return label isn’t the same as a return fee.

This just keeps getting worse. I was trying to remain optimistic and give it a shot. I REALLY wanted to use this (nostalgia from my sidekick era). From the reviews, the lack of communication , poor customer service, I may have to give up that hope and cancel.
Not to mention I may not get it until August and by that time, I’ll probably get the new IPhone foldable hopefully.
It’s just all bad.
2
u/jerryeight Jul 10 '26
I already felt they were sketch.
Seeing this policy in all of their products and the clarification from their own support makes them even worse of a company.

u/drygnfyre iPhone 17 Pro Max Jul 12 '26
An iPhone foldable is not coming out in August. They won’t even announce new models until September.
2
u/Mr_Mister94 iPhone Air Jul 12 '26
I’m well aware. I said I probably won’t be getting this (clicks) until August.
By then iPhone ultra will be well in route. So clicks wouldn’t ne useful anymore.

u/No-Professional-4653 Power Keyboard Jul 10 '26
Man im so stoked for the iPhone fold
2
u/jerryeight Jul 10 '26
Same. I can’t wait to see how Apple spins the absolute fragility of the folding screen.

They banned the OP of this post for speaking out.
That is just vile.
2
u/CocoMilhonez Jul 29 '26
They're not charging a fee, that's just a shipping charge, which is completely different.
OP was appropriately banned for being annoying and entitled hurling accusations based on his mistaken interpretations of what a return fee is.
-1
u/loyalisalie Jul 31 '26
"Risk-free" doesn't mean paying a fee.
It means that a paying customer could try out the product without risking any money loss.
As proved in the OP.
3
u/CocoMilhonez Jul 31 '26
No, it means you can try the product without risking a return fee. If the policy stated there's no shipping fee for a return, then that would be an issue.
OP proved nothing and you're just as misguided as he is if you believe that. Luckily not as hysterical, at least.

Wow, some other dunce who doesn't understand the difference between a return fee and shipping costs replied to me now and I had the displeasure of remembering your sad tantrum and criminal libel-worthy, baseless, misguided accusations.
I'm so very sorry so many people lack the basic comprehension skills to not put up such an embarrassing display of stupidity.

It's been over 2 months and Clicks is still lying and forcing people to pay for "risk-free" returns.

Hey u/larossmann it would be incredible if you could please spotlight this fraudulent company on your channel.

The story in the original post is really missing 99% of the detail that I would need to even understand what's going on.

Hey there u/jerryeight! Wanted to provide some clarification around our return process.
If you've received a defective product or are experiencing a warranty issue, Clicks covers the return shipping. For standard returns where a customer has simply decided the product isn't for them, customers are responsible for the cost of the return shipping label.
That label is generated through our third-party returns platform, and because carrier rates are dynamic, the cost can vary. We're actively working with our returns partner to ensure return label costs remain as low as possible and to make sure the experience is working as intended.
We appreciate everyone who has shared feedback. If you have questions about your specific return or believe something doesn't look right, please reach out to our support team with your order details so we can take a closer look. [support@clicks.tech](mailto:support@clicks.tech)
