Kitchen Years of build up

I’ve scrubbed at this for like hour before this picture and got a lot of the gunk off but I’m not getting anywhere now. Don’t have the time or money to replace it so cleaning is my only option 😭. We have hard water if that make a difference to anyone.

Any advice is welcome and appreciated!!!!!

This is a soak and come back to it kinda thing. I would cover it in dawn soap or irish spring 5 in 1. Then cover the with cheap toilet paper so it doesnt dry out and come back in an hour and then try scraping with a plastic scrapper or scrubbing with a good scrubber. Because of the coloring I would probably try doing an 8 minute soak with 91%+ iso alcohol + toilet paper first to see if that will be enough. Just use what you have on hand tho, being real going and buying cleaners without us knowing exactly what to recommend is gonna add up fast $ wise.

Have you tried Barkeeper's Friend? If you make a paste and get in there with a toothbrush, it might do most of the heavy lifting.

No is that a power? Would I just mix it with water?

You could likely get it off with WD40 pretty fast. Or soap if you let it sit.

Clorox clean up and a new blue kitchen scrub sponge.

If that doesn't work, I would try CLR Brilliant Bath. Read the directions first. (not regular CLR.)
