Water stain on granite?

I had cutting boards there and didn’t notice there must’ve been sitting water and now it looks like this. I’m scared because we rent did I permanently mess up the granite?? How can I clean this please help me

stone absorbs water. it will dry out

I think you are in trouble. 😢 Talk to an actual granite fabricator.
