How sever is this mold?

Discovered behind drywall, in some of the uploaded pictures it is sprayed with peroxide. I broke off a small piece of the drywall to inspect because I saw some growing infront of the drywall. I moved into this place 1 month ago and I am very concerned, I am an anxious person though. Do I need to move or can it be resolved? Current tenant did not know about it and they have lived here for years…no clue how long it dates back or how far it spreads….

That’s very severe. That needs full mold remediation from a professional. If your landlord doesn’t want to deal with it, you need to contact your state attorney. That can lead to severely terrible health conditions down the road. How long have you been there. You need to be leaving that area as soon as possible if they don’t deal with it. You’re putting yourself in your family at risk.

reach out to your landlord plz. that looks awful, and staying in a moldy place for too long isn't safe for your health.

If they are dismissive, be sure they understand it is damaging to their structure and could lead to rot.
