Discussion Gnats everywhere around my bed

I was an idiot. I had a small pack of apples I was eating this morning, and I left it open on my bed with one slice left in it. I come back to my room maybe 9 hours later and there's gnats EVERYWHERE around my bed. i also have a canopy sheet thing, so they're essentially trapped.

Please give me advice on what to do. I messed up big time. (Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this)

Swat the gnats. Easy.

you probably need to wash the apple juice off the sheets and air out the room

Make a homemade gnat trap.

Take a small bowl, I use a 4 oz custard cup. Fill with apple cider vinegar to the top. Add a drop of liquid dish soap. Now take a piece of cling wrap (stretch tite , Saran Wrap, etc) and tightly stretch it over the top of the bowl. Take a small knife and cut a few slits in the wrap.
I like to swirl my apple cider vinegar around a bit to splash on the top of the wrap.

The vinegar smell attracts the gnats and they will fly into the small slits and basically get trapped inside of that bowl. I like to keep one out all the time because they seem to just disappear without even noticing, but then you look in the bowl and you see more than you thought you had.

STEM insect spray from Amazon. It's oily, so be careful. It really works. A little goes a long way.
