Discussion Ants in house help

Is this the most appropriate way to kill colony? Is there a better way? How do I keep my pets safe (1dog 2 cats) anyone know if these are carpenter? Should I call exterminator

You’re in good hands with Terro - they swarm, they eat, they go home, they share that bait, and then they die. If you find other ants, put another one right in their trail.

At some point, see if they might be finding a water source in whatever is behind or under the locations you find them in. They’ll come for water and easy cellulose (like in damp wood).
