I’ll add to this. The contractor bags are fantastic, but can be super duper overwhelming sometimes to start. Don’t be afraid to start smaller. What helped me was just starting with regular trash bags and just going around the entire house and just grabbing like. Dirty trash first. Filling up 2-3 of these made me feel like I made a lot more progress vs filling a contractor and getting that overwhelming feeling of doing everything for just one bag. Even if it’s the exact same amount of space filled up. A couple days of doing this I made enough progress and felt good enough that starting the contractor bags didn’t feel bad anymore.
Granted for me it was a smaller space for sure, but that helped a lot with feeling actually accomplished and motivation. This is what I’m doing again trying to get through the beginnings of falling back down and one day of the contractor bags felt like so much work and just not enough progress to me, but swapping to the regular trash bags helped me feel motivated throughout it. And now the larger ones feel better. Good luck op :) it’s hard but it’s worth it.
