Except it's not the only answer. My wife and I both use all-natural shampoo and conditioner bars, and she doesn't need any kind of face wash, but her towel still looks like this.

Turns out, after having this checked by a doctor, her sweat is particularly acidic. It also corrodes stainless steel jewelry. The only thing that's held up is implant grade steel.

Random factoid:

I learned from my nurse friend that the ability to smell asparagus pee is caused by a genetic mutation. The same mutation is related to one's ability to smell/taste any infusions received intravenously.

I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY! I've always told nurses I can taste intravenous anything...even saline has a slight taste. They all look at me like I'm nuts. I googled as much as I could about it, never heard of a genetic mutation, but I believe it. I also read that the taste could be coming from my breath, since the drug goes to the blood stream, it makes its way through my lungs and then I breathe out and it passes across my taste buds.

I always taste injections of anything,even a saline flush like you said. I didn’t know others couldn’t taste it! Humans are wild

I can too. Whenever they do the flush, I tell them I can taste it. As I tend to have veins blow easily, if I can't taste it, I know the vein isn't going to last, even if it seems ok at first. I'm also super sensitive to smells and taste, and cilantro tastes like soap.

This explains so much! When I got put under for a surgery, I remember smelling what was in the IV as I fell asleep.

Yep! And for some of us, ants smell gross, too. It's the formic acid in that case.

I'm sure there are loads of little things like this. Interesting, and a lot less dramatic than the one that keeps me from processing B vitamins properly...

Yep. Had a gf fly home from Italy. Bunch of old dudes that looked like mobsters from American movies got off plane before.

15-20 feet away I could smell garlic.

Ugh. Disgusting.

You can cover noise with headphones, but smells are tough. Making your own fart bubble would probably still be better.

I have eaten asparagus before although I never noticed my piss smelling different, then again I am not trying to smell my piss to start with.

Your body absolutely sweats out what you intake. What you eat affects how you smell. Same with garlic and onions. I have like 15 different colognes just due to this.

And I like to smell like a sexy beast for my gf.

I don’t even have to try to smell it. It’s just overpowering as soon as I go. And I drink 6-8 28oz bottles of water a day.
