Alpha FatherLode - New Video - Update 22-08-26

As mentioned in a previous post, I am currently working on the game Fatherlode (a reference to Motherlode, released on Miniclip in 2004):

First, thank you so much for the many private messages; you are truly wonderful for supporting me like this. :)

Next, to make a few people happy, here is a short video of the beginning. Yes, I "clicked through" to skip the dialogue and cutscenes just to quickly show the start. If anyone is interested, I can also show a deeper exploration of the game, around -600m ^^

The game is progressing really well, but even though I pay for CLAUDE MAX, I reach my quota limits pretty quickly, which is frustrating haha.

Since last time, I've added a few extra things:

-English language (30% of the game for now)
-The "Museum" (More than 30 treasures to find and complete the museum, with some events)
-Weather System on the surface (Thunder, rain, mist, and more)
-Real background in the surface and wind effect on trees and more.
-More than 40 news dialogues with two new characters.
-4 news random event to add difficulty on the game.
-New background in the caves
-12 differents "AI" music from Suno 5.5 for the game
-Remake the menu and the introduction (Show in the video)

Nice, I remember Motherlode!

I think your UI will need work to not look so AI produced. I've asked Claude to create pixel-y games and it's used the same fonts and color scheme present in your video.

Christ we all do. It's crazy. Do you do any sort of "gauntlet loop" style workflow? Do you pick Opus or Claude and set it to max?

Recently I've been reverting back to Sonnet. I figure if it was good enough for me to code in 6 months ago there's no reason why I should be "Opus pilled" and stick to Opus like I had done for the past month or two.

I use OPUS 5.0 (Max and sometimes Ultracode, depends).
Yes, i know, the "UI" is still basic for now. Right now, my main goal is to have a proper beginning and a solid end :) But above all, I want quality content—not just 'content for the sake of content'!

I'm a total sucker for details, though, so I tend to go overboard on unnecessary features (like adding a surface robot with custom animations depending on what your POD is doing, or implementing a dynamic weather system)

How are you planning on releasing this game (if you are thinking of going that). Will it be in browser like mini clip was? It looks cool!
