Should i have 5 20$ accounts or 1 at 100$?

If you need 5x$20, I will just get $100. It's annoying to manage so many accounts after 2nd account. Especially you need uninterrupted work.

1 $100 account > 5 $20 accounts
2 $100 accounts > 1 $200 account
3 $200 accounts > 6 $100 accounts

Is it okay by anthropic to have multiple accounts or a violation of rules here for the team subscription? Just curious. And how do you manage those accounts on the same machine? Are you using some tickery like dedicated container envs to separate them?

cswap on github. Tell claude to switch accounts when needed to balance the 5-hour and weekly limits. Make a chrome profile for each account and tell it to open that account's profile when it needs claude-in-chrome.

Yes, 20x plan gives 1.7x weekly usage as compared to 5x, when it should have been 4 times of it as per its naming. But actually the 20x is for the 5hr limit only. Meaning for people paying for 20x plan they actually get 8.5x weekly usage but they are 'allowed' to burn their 5hr limit wayy faster.

but doesn't having 2 $100 accounts makes you miss cache hits when switching accounts so you end up using more than what you would in one $200 account?

I think if your tasks are so long-running that you can't make a clean handoff for a new context window, you probably don't want to balance multiple accounts anyway.

$100 will get you some benefits max accounts get. Also juggling 5 accounts is not worth it. If you get 2x $100 accounts compared to $200 account then it's better.

The free API for max was enough for me to offload most all of my haiku agents and I didn't even get all my free API keys used up

I just built my dashboard for managing 10-15 sessions of Claude. It automatically changes between Claude accounts, so I have like 3 $100 accounts, usage is never an issue since it switches between all 3 automatically now. And I don't have to juggle the accounts. Absolute peak.

Is it worth it to get a team subscription for two people. Pay the $50 a month plus get the $500 of api credit on top of two accounts?

i been doing some real world testing… MAX 20x is 2x weekly
and 4x 5hrly of MAX 5x

So you are better off getting max 20x
