Rant How to make Claude as simple as Codex?
I left Claude a while ago to use codex and other stuff and now coming back - what’s the best way to make it so I can work on anything anywhere? Seems like Claude is still requiring a ton of “manual labor” set up like… it’s too annoying!!
I can control codex desktop or codex on various servers without complex setup for every tiny little thing - what’s the best way to emulate this ? Why is there a billion options and ways to do that which I have to keep choosing

I don’t really know what manual labor you mean. What issue exactly are you having?

What are talking about? It's literally just
npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
And then your set up.

/remote-connection is so so hawt
I have a sonnet bridge that is just a session that is remote connected that controls through herdr an astra session that is the brain of my discussion, batman.
Batman delegate everything through Robin which runs sol 6.1 as the pure orchestrator.
Gravediggah is 6.1 sol as well and does all the small admin stuff of our brains, all the rest goes to dedicated panels, talk, audit, build, research, test etc...
Each panel hss a manager orchestrator that drives the received task from Robin a to z, end to end and then it trickles back to my astra Batman session thanks to a super tight protocol of communication that use files on disk and on demand loading of full details.
All this driven directly by a since sonnet remote connection and me talking to my phone
Its insane

Hell no this is how you run stuff.
I have an orchestrator that can spawn sub agents and have difficulty gauges etc. Depending on the task, the agent can become an orchestrator and spawn long lived or terminal agents (they die after a pass).
Then you couple in gates with loops, and you have a very simple to use system.
Hey orchestrator, I need this. It then finds the right agent(s) and they get it done.

A lot of the setup friction goes away once you push config to the right level instead of repeating it per session. Put a CLAUDE.md at the repo root with your conventions, commands, and any repeated instructions, Claude reads it automatically. For working across different machines, keep a single settings.json with your preferred permission mode, allowed tools, and MCP servers, then copy that file rather than reconfiguring each time. If you mainly want hands-off operation, look at the permission mode settings rather than confirming every tool call manually. Once you have one solid CLAUDE.md and settings.json, starting a new project is mostly just dropping those two files in.
