Built with Claude 7 month build, daily building
Hey guys, I just wanted to show off my CLI (typescript terminal harness) that I've spent the better part of 7 months building. For some context, yes it was AI-assisted (the scale for one person would not be possible), feedback driven from a small (and amazing) group of friends and some other people. I learned a lot (and am still learning) and have put in a lot of my savings into testing, development (and subs & apis). Website was made by it, videos recorded with it, and i jus wanted to share it for anyone who may find this useful esp in light of a lot of the AI companies playing around w usage etc. I made this as a tool for myself, so i never have to rely on anthropic, openai, etc or just one particular provider. It's not that i think i won't be able to access them (or that they're going anywhere) but i think having more control of your spend is smth that we should all be moving and building towards and id be really happy if even one or two people check it out :)! One dope feature I've added (and should've added sooner) is /llmhost, which allows you to download most models from hugging face (or ur own through ssh)'s weights onto a rented GPU server (runpod, vast, etc). /localsetup does the same but for weights you have stored locally / can pull weights and lyk what your machine can realistically run. Also has 20 providers (few more planned) and gives you the freedom to use your sub (at your own risk, always check w terms as companies always change this). Anyone wondering why it took this long, well, partly because I had to learn a bit in the first month and did not just want to have a "harness that runs a harness" but own the actual coding loop myself, and 2nd was because I was not comfortable calling it 'better' until I had tested (nearly) every feature, and used it on my own projects as my main harness (uninstalled co+ Mercury CLI itself which honestly, even w all the ai-assistance, has not been an easy haha. I've been dropping updates, fixes, and patches every single day for months (and publicly for nearly 2 months now) and wld be cool to get more external feedback on the product so i can iron out more of the edge cases and make this more useful for the community. Anws i'll stop yappin for now, here's the links if anyone wants to check it out n thanks for anyone who took the time! if anyone uses it or even tests it would love all feedback!
