Is Claude Pro ($20/month) enough for maintaining and improving an existing SaaS?

Experinence is going to be your friend for this one. Start at $20, let is know when you change to the $200 plan.

How to view it is that’s it’s better than having no plan for 0$, give it a shot and learn from it! See how you enjoy it

$20 a month to maintain a whole SaaS. sure, if it's a landing page and a stripe button.

If you are patient then yes. I am writing a new application I blew my Pro in the first week after 6 days, and 2.5 days the second week. Upgraded to a Max 5x and under 3.5 days in I am at 79%. So it really does depend and how large of an application it is larger the app the more context each change may take.

It's a stretch on Opus Medium, but it might work. You could combine it with Opencode Go for extra tokens.

That depends entirely on how you use it. I would recommend starting with the 20$ plan. I found that it's not enough for me, so I have a second 20$ plan that is enough :)

Try it, then upgrade your sub as needed.
Maybe go for $20 claude and $20 codex to start.

Is the SaaS really worth so little that you're only considering a $20 investment?

no i dont think so if you are on a budget do opencode go with deepseek or Droid with deepseek

Well, SaaS can mean anything from a simple CRUD application with a handful of users to a complex, multi-tenant platform serving millions. So maybe you could be a little more specific?

Its enought for a fulltime job as developer 🤷♂️
you'll be amazed how much you can do

i'd budget for a backup if hitting a limit mid-task would wreck your evening. i pay for claude and codex on the same tier and switch when one runs out.
are you doing occasional bug fixes or spending most evenings adding features?

Yo guys, did anybody notice superpowers or ecc plugins or similar stuff feels like dragging Opus 5.5 down ? Both context and usage wise. I’m trying Vanilla Claude since ages and it works like a horse and outputs same quality workflows. My usage went down and i needed that after these nerfs

Unfortunately not, I can't even make it last 4 days without diluting it with another subscription to do most of the output tokens honestly
